We stopped by here on spec with our 2-year old toddler and we were a bit anxious because the location being so central suggested it may have been a ‘tourist’ restaurant. We were proven completely wrong. The waiter brought us to a table at the back with benches where we were out of the way of the main restaurant but where we could also lie the baby down to sleep if needed, nicely done and much appreciated!
For the food we all had a starter and mains, I had the pumpkin ravioli and hubby had the mixed cheese and meats antipasti. Mine was to die-for and his plate was huge, but he still managed to finish it all! For mains I had the sea bass cooked in paper with mussels, clams and prawns, it was more of an event than a meal, the way it was served and pressed was just fabulous. Nanna had the seafood pasta which was in a red sauce and she licked her plate clean. Hubby had a steak of some sort and was also happy. Add to that a portion of chips, 2 desserts, a carafe of wine, and 7 vodka tonics and the whole bill came to around €180 which was very reasonable, particularly for the standard of service and quality of food.
Would definitely return.
