We stayed at Dimora delle Emme for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. The owners Marco and Maria Grazia were the perfect hosts and could not have done more to make our stay more pleasurable.
The room was really well decorated and was amazingly clean and quiet. The breakfast room was also very charming and the food was excellent.
The location of the B&B was on a lovely upmarket street and was only 10 minutes walk from central Ravenna, even without a car the location wasn't a problem.
We were sad to leave and when we are next back in Ravenna would make this our first and only choice of accommodation.

This B&B is an excellent staging point to visit the lovely town of Ravenna, with its stupendous mosaics dating back to the 6th century AD.

It is quite well located in a suburb just outside the city, and a modest distance from major attractions. The blurb says a 10 minute walk, but while this will get you to the city gate, services are a bit thin there, and you will need to walk another 10 minutes to get into the thick of things.

Our room was bright, well appointed, and stylishly decorated. WiFi is free and worked well throughout our stay.

True to Italian tastes, breakfast leans heavily towards sweet cakes, but these were of good quality, as was the coffee.

Parking could be an issue. The B&B has seven rooms, but internal parking for at most three vehicles, and these through an extremely tight access gate. If you gave a largish vehicle be prepared for a tight fit.

However, overall the Dimora delle Emme is a very pleasant place to stay, and a good base to visit Ravenna.

The owners of the property live on the premises. They are a kind genuine couple.

We enjoyed that there is 24 hr access to cookies and coffee/tea. It was nice to arrive in the afternoon and have a small snack and beverage before heading out to tour the town.

The couple made sure we had a map of the town and that all of our questions were answered.

Both the bedroom and the bathroom were spacious and comfortable.

One issue for us; pet odor. When we arrived the windows were all opened and we did not notice. When we closed the windows there was a strong pet odor in the bathroom. The worst part was that our sheets had a strong pet odor as well. I know that if I contacted the owner they would have changed the sheets immediately. I chose not to contact them about it as I do not like confrontation of this nature especially on vacation.

If you have pet allergies I would email them in advance so that they would be aware and could accommodate you better.
On check-out we were in need of an earlier than normal breakfast time to make our flight, they were very kind to accommodate us.

We stayed for 2 nights while we explored Ravenna and the amazing mosaics. The parking for our bikes was great. The room was clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Our host had excellent restaurant recs. Breakfast was a lavish spread with homemade jams and cakes. We had some wet clothes and were able to use the drying racks

A private house with attached B&B rooms.
Located in a quiet street just 10/15 mins walk to the centre of Ravenna, all on the flat.
Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with en suite.
Parking on site or in the road outside
Not only is breakfast provided which is continental but during the day & evening the breakfast room is available where lovely home made cakes are left ,plus coffee and biscuits. All of this is a lovely touch and part of the warm feeling the hosts give.
No hesitation at stopping here if Ravenna on our future list.
You can walk easily in town to all the main sites.Easily located in the town is the tourist information office, and they were extremely helpful in in identifying for us places to visit further afield where we were driving to.
There are many places to eat in the town centre.Free WI FI in the room
thanks for a lovely few nights stay

Room Tip: Given the location I wouldn't think any rooms were noisy
