I picked this place because of the interior design. Off site staff can help you in with your bag but might not be available when you leave depending the hour. My room was next to the big dining table and to the left was my favorite chaise the Corbusier LC4!
What a treat to lie there in solitude with a completely fascinating library of books at hands reach. Plus someone had picked out a few CD's that fir the season, motets and soloists. A little Christmas tree helped the mood. The lights were on a dimmer switch and in my room was a skylight with a remote. So I could look at the sky at any time. Despite others there for breakfast I seemed to have the place to myself so I could pretend this was my house in Italy...no too shabby. There are nibbles around to stave off hunger and the location was great...not far from the train.

Room Tip: My room to the right of the dining table would be great for two but mind the beam, ouch!

Good value for money - comfortable, clean and nicely decorated with antiques and interesting bits of art. My room wasn't in the main b & b but was just round the corner. Really well located within walking distance of the station and all the sites and close to lots of nice restaurants and bars. Just a heads up that the staff don't really speak much English - but they were lovely and very patient with my appalling Italian

A very comfortable B and B full of art and interesting furniture, expansive breakfast, comfortable quiet room. The main sites are all within easy walking distance as is the train station. I really enjoyed staying here and highly recommend it.

The building is an old house totally rebuilt. It is like a museum - from the front door up to your room. The location is very good. The staff don't speak English. Also, they don't remain there during the night. The check out was difficult because there was no one there.
