“Moby Otta, Genoa to Bastia”
Review of Moby Drea

We had a very satisfactory overnight cruise on May 19, 2016. The ferry terminal in Genoa is modern and lots to offer (shopping, food, duty free). We boarded early 8 pm, and the ferry departed the dock exactly at 2200. There was a very nice dinner buffet available; many passengers brought picnics. Wifi costs E5/hour. Our inside cabin was very comfortable and very clean. Towels, soap and shampoo provided. Hot shower very nice. They give a wakeup call in time for a hot breakfast if you like. Prices for food are reasonable. The arrival dock is right in the town of Bastia. Good value for the money and a pleasant overnight. They do not take your passport at checkin. Just ask for your room key.

We travelled on the Moby Drea from Genova to Olbia the 26th of september 2013 and returned the 6th of september. I have many points to complain about this ship and this company.
- the crew is really not customer-firendly and many of them are even antipathic. Don't expect a smile on that ship!
- The ship is very old (43 years old according to a crew member) and it's difficult to go from one point to another due to its absurd/old conception
- on the first way we had a delay of 2 hours, only 1/2 an hour on the way back
- the ship is dirty, especially the toilets and this already from the beginning of the trip on
- during the night you'll find people sleeping everywhere in the ship. That means difficulties to circulate and stinky air
- the "free" Wifi hotspots never worked
- the food in the "best" restaurant aboard was very "average"
- The indication panels everywhere in the ship (corridors, toilets, restaurants, etc..) contain horrible grammar errors in english, french and german languages
- if you paid for a cabin, you'll have to leave it at 6 o'clock in the morning for an estimated arrival at 8 o'clock
Next time, we'll try another company even if we have to pay more.
