This place is the only address for me in GENOVA. If not chasing for luxury, go for it!Two brothers at the reception are very friendly, helpful and always smiling. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Breakfast is typical Italian one and satisfactory if you are not there just for eating. Congrats two brothers;)

We were probably lucky to find a room at the last minute although the price was high; the room was comfotable with shower and WC, TV and air con, but no view; breakfast was good; service was helpful and polite and the hotel and room was clean; there is a small elevator to the 2nd floor hotel, just fits two people at a time with a case.

We r going to a cruise but decided to stay in genoa 2nights before.the hotel was a perfect pick.only 2stars but the location is great, very friendly and polite staff, clean room and bathroom.not too big but for the time we spent in the room it was more than enpugh.brignole train station is a 5minute walk from the hotel and trains are leaving from there to cinque terre which place is really worth a day visit once you are in the area.breakfast un the hotel was also ok.not too many things but evetything is tasty and fresh.there is also a big market next to the hotel, great restaurants to eat at so i totally recommend the hotel for short or even longer stays.

Just booked it because of the price and the location. What a place! The reception from the guy working there (it is to our shame that we forgot his name!) was brilliant with help on directions, rooms, places to eat and most of all answering questions from2 very tired travellers. He made us feel that we were residents there and not just one night guests. It is so easy to find and coming in from the east on a motorcycle it was easy to find. Parking is no issue for a bike, it never is!
Walking around Genoa is really easy and safe from this hotel and the square itself is lively.
The room is small but very cool thanks to A/C and has everything you need.
We like to eat outside of hotels but we were gently ushered to eat in the breakfast room and we were glad we did with Cappuchinos followed by toast, cereal, fruits, cheeses and meats, all complimentary.
This is not a two star hotel despite its rating and its pricing.
I highly recommend it.

Room tip: All the rooms are quiet well above the street

It seems two stars on the paper but it is more than that... It is in the second floor of an old building but recently upgraded rooms with TV, air conditioning, comfortable bed, very nice bath room even with hair dryer... The breakfast is satisfactory for a two star hotel. The most important plus is the smiling and helpful staff... The last but not least advantage is the location... Safe and 50 meters away from the Main Street of Settembre... Strongly recommended for business and moderate budget touristic visits...
