On the Monday after Easter we were in Portofino for the day and we saw the reviews for this restaurant and decided it was our best option. It was one in the afternoon and the place was packed. The owner told us maybe around two, give or take, we could get a table. We returned at two and there was a table finishing up and was told it would be a little bit longer. I had eyed the food and had a good feeling about the place so we hung in there. The owner comped us a glass of prosecco while we waited which was an added treat. Once seated the service was a bit slow but it was such a gorgeous day I could have cared less. We had a frito misto as an appetizer as well as a special tuna and beet dish. There was a bit of a slow down after the first course and my solution was to order another bottle of wine. The waiter brought the bottle and told us this bottle was on the house.
Our main course was a mixed seafood rissotto, spaghetti Alla vongole and a very unique lasagna. Everything was excellent. Highly recommend.
