We visited this hotel in June with TITAN.Hotel was clean and tidy good bedrooms, good location,But do NOT go to this hotel with TITAN. Advertised as 4 star the food we had was less than 2 star. All TITAN guests were seated in a different area of the restaurant with no choice were to sit, Breakfast was adequate usual continental buffet style. but we soon found out there was more choice when sitting in other areas. At breakfast we were presented with three course set menu for the evening meal which we had to pre order so soon realized why. With a choice of 2 starters (soup or pasta)2 main course (fish or pork)and 1 dessert.the same every day.quite often served look warm. It felt like it had been pre prepared some time ago and left on a hot plate . One of the nights the soup was inedible. My husband can not eat pork or fish so he ended up having soup as starter and pasta for main.We did attempt to complain by the waiter and the TITAN rep(the head waiter had done a runner when he saw all the complaints)There was an option to move into the a la carte section and pay again for an a al carte choice but given the quality of the food we choose not to do this, and ate out on a lunch every day.As TITAN is part of Saga we think there is a rationalizing of costs going on. With meals being done to a price.Even 2 star food should be edible.

Dear Titan guest,

we would like to thank you for your review since constructive critisicm is always appreciated to improve our services. In some points, however, we have to correct your statements as follows: The choice from the breakfast buffet is the same for all our guests, independently where they are sitting and if they are individual or not. Breakfast is not ...continental buffet ... but much more than that, rather full American.
The restaurant staff has to organize the seating plan for the group for an entire week coordinating the seating with the other individual guests who, by the way, are also sitting at the same table for their entire stay.

We are really sorry that your husband could not eat neither pork nor fish but you could have told us in advance and we would have then organized some other dishes instead.

Coming to the quality of food we believe that we meet the standard of a four star hotel, using always fresh products and having a Carte wich offers typical Italian dishes. Of course we are aware that we can't please everybody and even that we are not a three Michel Star Restaurant but we strongly object your statement about our food being not edible. Honestly, that’s not fair!

As for Titan, they do always their best to ensure that their guest become good service and quality and, on that purpose, they get immediately in touch with the hotel management when something goes wrong. For that reason we changed some main course dishes, offering more fish and beef rather than pork.

On the other hand we are aware that somehow we must ameliorate some critical points and are working hard to find the best solutions. We are vey much sensible how our guest feel about our place and we keep in mind their suggestions, learning everyday from them.

We do hope that one day you will come bach to Hotel du Parc and in that case we assure you that we shall do our best to make your stay the most enjoable one.

With the best regards fron Lake Garda, we stay at all time

Faithfully yours,

Gian Paolo Mura - Manager

We spent 5 days at the hotel Dupark and we were very happy with our stay.
The staff are so friendly. The breakfast was very good. The position of the hotel was good it was just a bus stop away from the old Town of Simone.
We would definately recommend this hotel.

Thank you to the reception staf at Hotel du Parc for the excellent service we received throughout our stay. At the end of our wonderful holiday we were unfortunate and had our luggage and passports stolen en route to the airport, Laura was really kind and arranged for us to extend our stay whilst we had to wait over the Bank holiday weekend until the Embassy opened. Nothing was too much trouble and she went that extra mile in our hour of need. Bravo and Thank you all again

We went to a weeks vacation in Lake Garda. The staff ( waitresses, receptionist and cleaning staff) were so kind, including to our messy three year old. There was also a great pool and ping pong table to relax and entertain/ play with the kids. The breakfast is nice but the dinner is mouth watering. If you take dessert don’t miss the Mille feuille. Finally, Hotel Du Parc is well located and is in a walking distance to the beaches, the marina and the shuttle bus that takes you to the old city.

My Mum and I stayed at Hotel the Du Parc in Sirmione. We would totally recommend this hotel! The room was a good size, comfortable, clean, had a fridge, beverages, sky TV, a safe (free) and a balcony. The pool area was private and clean and there is the option to eat lunch outside at a tabled area nearby. The bar staff are lovely, ‘Nataly’ was particularly helpful...we recommend the cocktails! The restaurant food was an excellent standard, the head waiter was a lovely chap who was most obliging. The prices weren’t bad in comparison to the restaurants in the town centre. The hotel provides a free shuttle bus Mon-Fri into Sirmione (just over a mile away) but you must book it prior. Otherwise, the bus stop is a short walk from the hotel and only a couple of Euro’s there and back. You can buy tickets from a machine or on the bus. Be warned, even if there’s a queue, people just push in. This is ‘normal’ behaviour apparently. It’s something that happens literally everywhere in the area. So getting there early is advisable if you want a seat on a bus. Many restaurants in town include the tip already, check the bill first, we got caught out initially and over tipped. The town centre provides free wifi too which is handy. Sirmione is stunning and feels very medieval. There is a ferry that drops off at various towns around the lake throughout the day. We visited two and recommend visiting Garda if you like quaint, Bardolino is nice too but more modern. We recommend a half hour boat trip around the peninsula and through the castle moat but be warned it can be choppy for 15 mins of the trip wave wise. Food prices in town average at 6-12 Euro’s per starter and 12-22 Euro’s per main. A bottle of wine averages about 13-20 Euros. There is a bus into Verona for about 5 Euro’s each way. The Arena de Verona is worth a visit early on to avoid too long queuing but just to warn it may be set up for a concert. The biggest piece if advice though is to wear a strong mosquito repellent and ankle/wrist band. I had to buy antihistamine cream too. Of my 29 countries, it’s in my top 5 for numerous, huge bite reactions. Hope these tips help. We would recommend the hotel and holiday destination.
