We stayed here for 3 nights. The hotel is in a decent location, nothing special. No shopping nearby, you will need to drive a few miles to get to the old town which is just charming! Our room was towards the street which we so very noisy! I am sure if you are on the beautiful lake side of the hotel, you will not have this problem. our beds were like rocks, even harder than most European beds that we have stayed in. Breakfast was basic, again nothing special. We would not return to this hotel.

Room Tip: Don't get a room facing the noisy street!!!

We stayed here while traveling with another couple. We both had lake-view rooms with adjoining terraces overlooking the lake which were delightful. The rooms were very comfortable and the hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The buffet breakfast was copius and the cappuccino delicious.

The hotel grounds are very nice and there's ample parking. We didn't want to stay in the town of Sirmione and found the location of this hotel perfect.

Room Tip: We enjoyed our lake-front room with a nice terrace.

Inside this hotel is lovely. The rooms are sumptuous and are large in size.

Unfortunately this hotel is a 10 minute (when not busy) drive from the main historic Sirmione, or 45 minutes on a busy weekend. The Hotel is 50 yards from a main busy road and the beach is right at the end of the lake meaning the prevailing winds carry all the small sediments down and the algae meaning the first 10m from the beach smells and has loads of red thick algae. After that it is lovely.

This hotel would be lovely if it were on the straight of Sirmione.

The restaurant attached is lovely and always full, unfortunately it is twice the price (literally 16E for a ham and cheese tortellini) when compared to the other local places.

Unfortunately I would say not to book this hotel. There are better located and better priced options nearby.

Room Tip: If you have to go, choose a beach facing room.

Stayed in the hotel for 4 nights and had a great room. The hotel is clean and pretty inside, great views with a lake view room. The breakfast is good too, the croissants are irresistible! Just next to it is a lovely cafe/pasticeria you must try the cakes and ice cream! Overall a great time and would recommend the hotel.

Hotel Lugana Parco al Lago immediately faces the Lago Garda and is not too far away by car to the Old City where most people want to visit and wander inside the wall. It is located in a small town known as Sirmione and a great place to drive to Verona for a daily visit. In June it was still not a busy time and we really had the hotel to ourselves. The pool needed cleaning, but still good to swim as is Lake Garda, a little away from the shoreline. It was truly peaceful. The restaurant was good, both for breakfast and dinner. The owners of this family hotel also own the vineyards nearby that they call "Cadei Frati", and the wine, white, rose, and red I found very good. When I asked to keep my empty bottle, however, the waiters' response was that I should ask the reception for it! I got it, anyway.
There's ample parking facility in front of the hotel and on the property facing the entrance. That's always good in Europe where parking always comes at a premium. To return to the hotel from the Old City follow the route Pescheira, and the hotel is near a small restaurant Al Cavallo with two statues, one a horse, the other a woman.
Within the wall, however, there's the 5-star Grand Hotel de Terme, perfect place to be to visit Sirmione, pricey but great. It's sister Hotel Sirmione is just on the left, inside the wall, too, as you enter the Old City. They'll park the car for you. A little commuter train does the round of the city for a short distance. You can also park outside the wall and go shopping to all the many shops there. If you want a Spa experience you can go to the Terme di Catullo for 39 euro for 5 hours. It's inside the wall.

Room Tip: One facing the lake as opposed to facing the street.
