Don’t recommend to stay at this place. Flood in the bathroom after taking shower, incompetent stuff, tiny room. You even have to borrow hair dryer at the reception. If you travel to places like Lago Maggiore pay a bit more and enjoy lake views.

Lovely small historical hotel in the centre one street back from ferry and lake. Very helpful friendly management and staff. We enjoyed very much.
My wife and I stayed here on vacation a couple of weeks ago. The hotel is small but very nice. The proprietor is very personable and attentive. We had a nice breakfast before heading out to Isolo Bella on the ferry. The restaurant a few doors away was also excellent.
Terrifying! Whilst I stayed in this hotel, the manager unlocked my door and attempted to enter while I was sleeping very early in the morning . He said he made a mistake to collect cases. Totally inexcusable and only his word. I was terrified and the booking agents arranged a refund and for me to move hotels. He removed all trust and installed fear in me.
As a solo female traveller this is unacceptable, he terrified me and ruin my time in Stresa. Do not stay here!!!!
Stayed 2 nights here. Perfect location in town, walking distance everywhere, but especially owner Gianni Saini made it especially as he was so helpful. Gave us great directions for visiting the islands off the Stresa coast, including maps, places to go, restaurants. Then he did the same today as we left for Mt Mottarone and Lake Orta. What a great host! Plus, the hotel was clean and nice to boot!
