Our room was fairly small, but sufficient, and a good value. The bathroom was modern and clean, and had a nice shower and bidet. The bathroom had interesting LED lighting that changed colors continuously. (There was normal lighting as well.) The breakfast was a terrific continental buffet with an awesome fresh fruit salad that contained cherries, blackberries, kiwi, banana, apple, etc. They had yogurt, beautiful breakfast cakes, rolls, cheeses, meats, soft-boiled eggs, cereals, juices, etc. They make delicious coffees / espresso / lattes to order for each guest. You couldn’t ask for much more in a continental breakfast.

The hotel is nicely situated between Venezia and Lima metro stops. It is a 15 minute walk from Centrale, or 3 - 4 stops by metro with one transfer at Loretto from the green to the red line. If you have luggage and the weather is disagreeable, it’s worth the 1.50€ per person for the metro. As long as you don’t exit through the turnstiles, you get unlimited transfers within a 90 minute window after first use. (Hold on to your ticket! You need it to exit at your final destination.)

Once you figure out the metro - which is pretty easy to do - you can jet anywhere super fast. (The Duomo is just 3 stops from Hotel Teco the on the red line.)

We only stayed 1 night in Milan but the Hotel Tesco was excellent. Our flight was delayed so we didn’t arrive until very late, the hotel responded very quickly to our query about late check in and were very welcoming when we arrived at 1.30am. All staff were extremely friendly, the room was clean and well equipped which led to a lovely brief stay in Milan.
