As always this hotel has clean and good rooms, beds are nice and firm to my liking. I would prefer a single duvet in stead of the double. It's just to much. Breakfast is good. I'm not sure of the selection for non-gluten or vegan, as i don't pay attention to it.
Dinner in the hotel restaurant has been tested by me and friends through the years and doesn't disappoint. (We stay here every year for Eicma).
The shuttle bus was back up and running after Covid, which is very convenient. Taxi to and from Eicma is cheap, but i just love the extra service shuttle bus.
When checking out we requested a taxi to take us to the Alfa Romeo museum before the flight home. Your front desk man pointed to a man in the reception which grabbed our bags and stuffed it in his Panda. Then we took off, like maniacs. From there on to the museum it was an orgie of breaking every traffic rule, screaming out the window, screaming in the car, making obscene gestures to women passing, going wrong way in the roundabout to gain position (I firmly believe he thinks it was a race). He also held so long before braking when catching traffic, that we several times prepared for impact, only to make to car lengths distance and close it again while laughing.
How he managed to get this 0,9l Fiat to these speeds, scaring three grown men, not unknown to speed or crazy traffic, is beyond me. This is just the tip of the iceberg of this story of how this "taxi" trip was.
In the end, it is a testament to the Fiat company, making a car that survive this kind of abuse from drivers and not break down.
