Hotel Stazione is an excellent little find in terms of value. The hotel is small and located within another hotel. All the rooms are on the second floor with a small breakfast area located in the middle of the floor. Note, there is no lift from the ground floor up but the front desk staff were kind enough to help us bring our bags up.
The rooms are relatively spacious and the toilet is very large. Beds are comfortable, no complaints there. Basic and gets the job done. WiFi has decent speeds over my three nights. Only gripe for me is the lack of a mini-fridge of sorts but since I went in during the early winter period, the window ledge was a good substitute.
Breakfast is a simple affair with fresh pastries and cereal. Also, as I stayed over the Christmas period, they also served Panettone which was delicious. Drink are made freshly by the staff. Coffee, tea or hot chocolate.
I would rate this as one of the best value hotels I've ever stayed in and I would have no hesitation in pick it as my choice hotel if I'm back in Milan. Also, I'd like to give a shoutout to Ali who made our stay extremely pleasant.More
