After having visited churches in and around Milan & Stresa, we really didn't want see another church, however we were persuaded to visit this one on an island off Orta San Giulio. The church has many frescoes which are quite delightful. The pulpit is very unusual and the church turned out to be worth visiting. Apparently, the island was a monastery and has now been taken over by a nunnery/convent that makes the vestments for the clergy in The Vatican.
