Had a lovely stay here. Basic but clean rooms. Right in the centre of Turin. For £65 a night for a triple room it was a bargain. Owner speaks very little English but still tried to be as helpful as possible. Would definitely stay again. Would of been difficult to find without reading the previous reviews.

Alba Hotel is located within a 5- to 10-minute walk to Mole Antonella, beautiful plazas, great restaurants and gelaterias, and more. The address is clear, but the name of the hotel appears only on the little name spot on the plate that lists who is in the building. It's a big door. Look closely. Once you know where it is, it's super easy and always is a great location. The owners are friendly, but keep in mind that they do not speak English. The person I talked with most knew Italian and French; I know English and Spanish. Still, we managed well enough and had a great stay!

We visited hotel alba in September 2011.
The hotel is a family run room only house, you get a bedroom with a shower and toilet but that is it.
It is quite hard to find as it has no sign except on a brass plate beside the door to the appartment block, look for the house number and you will find it.
The staff appear to live in the house and were very pleasant but spoke no english at all so take your phrase book.
The room was clean as were the sheets but the shower/toilet room was basic.
Don't expect to lay in as there is noise from7.30am.
This is not a hotel more a cross between a hostel and an albergo so basic facilities and no frills but it was in a good position and reasonably priced.
Parking is nearby at 15 euro pr 24 hours which is essential if you are driving.

Room Tip: 3 star in Italy is 2 star in england, 1 staqr is a hostel.

The hotel is just a few rooms on the first floor - I had a shared bathroom (don't know if any ensuites), no breakfast is provided. The room was small but clean, with a decent flat screen TV. The bathroom (shower only) was fine, and just a few yards down the corridor. The young woman on receprion speaks some English but better French, and is very sweet. Note that there is a sign in the room which states that they do not accept credit cards - but they do !

My room had a small balcony overlooking the road, but the room wasn't too noisy, although the cafe across the road did get noisier late at night. The hotel is about 20 minutes walk from the main train station, and just a few minutes from all the cafes and shops on Via Po which also has bus/tram stops, also there are some great cafes on Piazza Vittorio Venuto about 5 minutes away for late night meals or drinks. Turin itself was a great place to visit.

Perfect location in the old town, very friendly, clean and comfortable. A quiet little street, ideal for walking exploration of Turin, which is underrated.
