+ modern and industrial design;
+ near Eatily, where you can find everything related to the Italian cuisine;
+ silent and comfortable rooms
+ spacious and elegant bathrooms;
+ instead of a shower there’s a bath;
+ both breakfast and dinner was very tasteful;
+ beautiful glass passage through a garden;

- in the mornings you need to wait in the queue to check out;
- it’s quite far from the centre, so in the evening you need to take taxi or walk to the 8 Gallery
- although I asked the receptionist to accredit my Miles&More card she didn’t do it and after I came back home I had to do it once again using Lufthansa system;
- no free wi-fi

This was my first time staying at this hotel under the NH brand. I used to come here monthly when it was Le Meridien. There were no apparent changes made other than the sign outside the hotel. The staff at checkin were professional, kind and helpful. The rooms remain very comfortable and spacious, having top quality bed sheets, mattress and pillows. The bathroom was clean and well stocked with all the amenities one would expect from a four star hotel.

The location is not ideal if one prefers to be in the heart of downtown Turin. I find it less congested with ample free parking. The hotel is directly across the street from the original Eataly, a must visit for those who love Italian food. The hotel is also adjacent to the Lingotto 8 shopping mall.

The breakfast buffet is plentiful and a great place to start your day. Unfortunately, I dined at the hotel's restaurant one evening, only to find mediocre food. I started my meal with a complimentary rolled zucchini stuffed with ricotta cheese on a bed of creamed squash. This was followed by a vegetarian wheat penne pasta with black cabbage, broccoli and creamed cauliflower. It was just okay, nothing to write home about. I then had the sliced steak served on a bed of greens, also served with a side of sad looking grilled vegetables. The steak had grizzle and was difficult to chew and the grilled vegetables were flavorless. Poor presentation. Perhaps it was simply a bad night for the chef, but I would recommend dining elsewhere. "La Pista" restaurant is located on the top floor in the adjacent shopping mall and worthy of a visit.

The lobby lounge was relaxing for cocktails or an after dinner drink and the bartender was knowledgeable in mixing drinks.

I recommend NH Lingotto primarily for the business traveler. I will return.

Room Tip: The hotel is located in a commercial/business area and doesn't offer much in the way of panarami...

The hotel is real nice... It is not central, but only 5km from the central square.
I loved the fact that there is a shopping mall adjacent to the hotel building, where Fiat factory used to be, and there's a post office on the right when facing the hotel entrance door.

I found the surcharge of 16 euros to have a breakfast delivered to the room quite extortionate as well as the internet daily surcharge of 14 euros.

But overall experience was great, receptionists are very friendly and helpful. And I loved breakfasts (though no freshly fried eggs/omelette made).

Room Tip: Ask for the room with the view of Alps (didn't work with me as i stayed for 3 nights, but i was...

i have just returned from a 3 day break in turin staying at NH Lingotto. i have nothing but postive remarks to make about the hotel, friendly staff, clean, comfortable, large choice of hot and cold buffet breakfast, and the metro on the door 9mins into turin centre. we found the shopping centre in the same building and ventured out onto the roof to see the old test track. would definately stay there again and recommend it to friends

My wife and initially spent 3 nights at this hotel in the Lingotto district of Turin in October, 2011. We changed our plans and extended our stay by 4 nights. The hotel is best described as industrial modern, being in a former Fiat assembly plant. It is connected to a 90 store, 14 restaurant indoor shopping area, and across the street from the original Eataly, where you can shop for everything Italian, eat in its many restaurants, buy gelato, wine, etc., and all the makings for a great picnic as well. The room was large, well appointed with a great bed, linens and bathroom with a tub. There were some minor nicks on the painted walls, and some signs of aging in the upholstered furniture, but nothing to distract from the comfort and quality of the room. The breakfast was the best we had during a one month stay in Italy at many hotels. It had many meats, cheeses, pastries, fruits, juices, cereals, etc., with great custom made coffees. The staff exceeded our expectations in every way. This was our first trip to Turin after many trips to Italy. We were able to easily day trip by car from the hotel, with its on-site free parking and ease of entering and leaving the city. At the hotel's front entrance is access to the underground metro, a new and immaculate subway ride into the middle of the old town - a short ride for 1 Euro - the best travel bargain in Italy. The location to Eataly, the shops and restaurants in the attached "mall", the ease of car day tripping and the metro to the middle of town, coupled with the quality of the hotel, makes this place a true 4* experience. Because the cost of using the internet was very high, $18 US/day, and the marks on some walls and some aging in the furniture, a "very good" rating was considered most appropriate. I would certainly stay at this hotel again, without hesitation.

Room Tip: Rooms facing the Alps have wonderful views of the city and the Alps in the background. Rooms facing...

This hotel is set in an old FIAT factory and is really a cool place to stay. The building on the outside looks impressive and immense, the hall is very high and large.
Staff at the reception was very friendly and spoke perfect English. The corridors are somewhat strange, but nicely decorated with stylish and modern material. The rooms are very large, huge windows and a large bathroom as well. We had a magnificent view on the mountains which made our stay in this room a real pleasure. The insulation is very good, so you don't have any noice from other rooms or from the street. The bed was perfect and all amenities available.
The only minor point to us was the restaurant, where we didn't really find on the menu what we wanted to eat, but who cares about that in Torino ? There are so many excellent restaurants everywhere that you don't really want to eat in the hotel.
We will certainly go back there when travelling to Torino again !
