Good hotel, elegant minimalist design, big rooms, comfortable bed, a nice bathrobe, slippers, good breakfast, kind staff. Near the Lingotto center, which is very convenient for a business trip. But…

No free Wifi – strange in a 5 stars hotel and a great disadvantage for a business trip. The most B&B-s in Italy have free Internet
The carpet a bit “tired”
I stayed there 4 nights and they did not change the towels or the sheets, nor they did ask if I’d want to
Not enough water pressure and the water wasn’t really hot
No possibility to make a cup of coffee or tea in the room
Far away from the city center, which means taxis

Definitely not a 5 stars hotel. I’d say maybe 4 stars.

Obtained excellent rate for last minute booking. Free parking, 5 mins walk to subway (15 mins to CBD). Creative design with very high ceilings, large floor to ceiling windows. Woke up to magnificent view over Alps. Spacious, well appointed room, plenty of work space. There is a PAM supermarket next door, Eataly (Slow Food outlet - well worth a visit) across the street and the hotel is connected to Lingotto Conference & Exhibition Centre (which also has cinemas). Staff very helpful and informative. Related hotel (NH Lingotto - without "Tech") is around the corner.

Located in the business district of Turin, so easy to get to the main HQ's in the area.

Great hotel. Really Clean, high ceilings, spacious rooms, the room is set-up with a large desk which makes is easy to work from the hotel, powerful showers, quiet.

Lovely dining area. Really good choices for breakfast, which is complementary. Cute 'chocolate' chairs in the lobby.

I would highlight that internet is not free here. I believe it was 20euros per 24 hours. Unfortunate really when this is a 5 star and in the business district. It should also be noted it takes about 20 minutes in a taxi from the city centre - which I would recommend visiting.

The Eataly food market across the raod from the hotel comes highly recommended from everyone I have spoken to about it. Unfortunately I did not have enough time to visit on this trip.

Turin surprised me, I thought it would be much like Milan i.e. quite industrial, but it is a lot more beautiful having the mountains and they have really refreshed the city since the Olympics. This region is also home to great, fresh Italian food and wine.

This is a really nice hotel but there can be some confusion. This is one of two hotels built in the former Fiat factory about 20min out of the Turin CBD (by underground), Though advertised with the old Fiat car test track on the roof, it’s actually not here. There is one - an interesting, part brick-tiled track with banked corners - but it’s atop the adjoining hotel and getting there is difficult. There’s also a restaurant on top, surrounded by the track and with sweeping views of the city and hills. The confusion about the test track comes from the two hotels having (practically) the same name - NH Lingotto and NH Lingotto Tech. The Lingotto (no Tech) has the test track. The Lingoto Tech is where we stayed. If you planed to see the track, you can’t get there without a car (you have to drive up the spiral ramp within the building) and you can’t get a car into it unless you have a special permit. Also, the elevator to the top of the building had been broken for two months - said the reception at NH Lingotto - so it’s a walk. And, on top of that, you can’t - or shouldn’t because it’s really spooky - walk up the ramp at night. But we did it anyway! The NH Lingotto Tech is a very modern, very comfortable hotel that is now run by NH after being dropped by the previous operator, Le Meridien. In fact, a lot of hotels in town became NH facilities after Turin finished its 2006 Winter Olympic Games’ obligations. while the Lingotto Tech’s rooms are comfortable and neat, it’s time for a makeover. The shower recess leaked water onto the room’s hallway carpet, the shower base was rusting and the carpet was stained. Everything else worked fine - including the unusual glass-walled lifts - but NH will make you pay for wi-fi. Yet the adjoining shopping centre - which is gigantic and contains everything from electrical stores, a cinema and a huge food shop which is a real bonus for cheap fruit and necessities, has free wi-fi for shoppers. Go figure! Breakfast was in a vast area beneath the atrium roof, with one wall - the one with the elevators - floor to ceiling glass which made for a nice outlook. Hotel staff were generally pleasant but fell down a bit on local knowledge - or the language difference produced the wrong translation. Even directions to the underground (Metro) were wrong. But Turin is an interesting city with lots to see - palace, Mole, Turin shroud (for free, even though it’s a copy) and other stuff - and is substantially quieter than Milan yet stocks the same clothes for the same prices.

Room Tip: All rooms appear to be the same, with the same outlook.

The NH Lingotto Tech is a very nice hotel. Even though it is located not in the city centre, it is very easy to reach by underground.

The rooms are very nice and spacious with a huge windows making the room very bright and comfortable.

The staff is very friendly and helpful. Special thanks belong to Veruska from the Front Office.

This hotel was really relaxing. I think they'd just had some works done, so I don't know if it was looking especially fresh, however the carpets looked really new. The room was extremely spacious and clean. We also loved the walk-in shower with extra jets! The pillows were also very soft and they had a thin quilt on the bed rather than just a sheet!

NH Lingotto Tech is situated right near Eataly, which is surprisingly great value for money, although in general we found Turin quite a reasonably priced destination (especially in comparison to rip-off Florence).

Breakfast was also quite good and peaceful. Love the yoghurt in the glass. The only negative comments I have are about characteristics that seem to be common among all Italian hotels. Not much is advertised about the services they offer and we were left to just wander into the breakfast room. Staff ignored us coming in for breakfast, however were very pleasant when asked for coffee. Staff were friendly in general and check-in was very efficient. I particularly like the fact they do not require a credit card on arrival as security!

I would definitely stay here again and will definitely be going back to Turin.

The Tech hotel is perhaps a little bit too far away from the city center to be convenient for tourists. Fortunately it is next door to a small mall in the Lingotto building (a must see) and from Eataly, a unique concept where shop and restaurant merge to give a taste of the best of Italy's slow food delicacies.
The facilities of the hotel are in line with other NH hotels (good, not spectacular). I find the rooms spacious and they do give a 'tech' feeling, with its furniture, its lamps and the sketches of Renzo Piano's architectural designs for Lingotto itself on the walls. The show piece of the hotel is definitely the beautiful breakfast hall in the shape of a 'factory courtyard' - go and see it yourself.
