We arrived at this restaurant at 7:30 without a booking and were fortunate to get a table. The waiter and kitchen staff were amazing. The waiter patiently and clearly explained the menu to us in English and the local food was simply amazingly

My sister and I had a dinner here Sept. 1, 2017, and it was one of the best restaurant meals we had during our 10-day stay in Italy. As mentioned by others, the restaurant has no paper menu, only a chalkboard, so expect to eat what's in season. Also expect it to be fresh, with traditional local foods and flavors, done in an original way. The host squeezed us in to an already full dining area, explained the menu to us in very good English, and didn't seem to mind that I had to run back to deal with an issue with our rental in the middle of the appetizer. The appetizers were fresh full calamari salad, and three pieces of tomino (Piemontese cheese) each with a different topping (olive tapanade, honey and pear(?), and tomato/pepper(?)--not exactly sure 2 wks later). In any case, it was all fresh and well-prepared. The primi were orecchiete with olive pesto (very filling, savory, and delicious) and garganelli (short pasta) with salsiccia (sausage) "profumati al tartufo." Both dishes were unique, simple, fresh, and well-prepared, like good food should be. One of us ordered the lentil burger for a secondi, which served open-faced like a traditional "burger," with tomato, greens, and potato slices on the side. It was also delicious and filling, and a surprising menu choice, welcomed by a vegetarian. Only one of us had room for dolce, which was a chocolate "Bonet Piemontese" similar to pudding or custard, with an amaretti cookie on top, another tasty local dish. After the meal, while paying the bill, we had a nice conversation with the host while they were closing up, talking about local places, family, and other travels (to Japan). Overall, it was a great experience in a small, local place, with excellent, fresh food, and a welcoming atmosphere. Good people. Highly recommended.

We really enjoyed two great dinners at this great place. The interior is not fancy but the food is super with a changing menu every day.
The place is run by a charming welcoming host who eagerly explains the whole menu, also in English. We loved every part of it. The prices are crazy low also for the wines.
So if you're in Turin, don't hesitate and go there. You won't be disappointed!

This restaurant was something really different of what I have tried before. I haven´t been used to not to choose from a menu, but here you don´t mind. Our waiter was really attentive and explained us every meal they offered and helped to choose. You are sure everything is fresh, because every day there´s a different offer. And a great wine.

We had a wonderful dinner here on our last night in Turin. No menu just a lovely gentleman who did his best giving us the evenings choices in English. We had the most delicious meal accompanied by a lovely wine and explored a part of the city we had not been to yet. Could not recommend a better place to enjoy true Piedmont regional food.
