Clean and silent business hotel...

4.0 of 5 bubblesReviewed Feb 27, 2016via mobile
Rooms are very comfortable, clean and silent. Very close to restaurant Catullo, 6 mins by walk. So sometimes you do not have to drive and find parking for the car. There is free closed garage and free wifi. Breakfast could be better. But in any case, I can prefer for the next time in Turin.

Despite not being right in the centre of the city, this hotel is actually a good base for sightseeing. You are within easy walking distance of the main bridges and the views across and along the river are lovely.

The hotel itself is efficient, modern and clean. It is fairly small, so never feels crowded. It is quiet, especially at the back. Breakfast is sufficient: the rooms are average size: the bathrooms modern and clean.

The staff at reception are very helpful and friendly. They speak good English which was necessary as far as we were concerned. The lady who served coffee in the breakfast room was very pleasant and attentive.

The hotel has a bespoke taxi service to the airport at a fixed price, otherwise it is a bit of a trudge to the bus stop at the station. Nearby there are restaurants and cafes beside the bridges that lie in both directions.

Room tip: Rooms at the back would be quieter but do not have views over the river.

Like many people I also go through the trip advisor reviews to pick out hotels - This hotel has some great reviews that are all spot-on. It's a very clean hotel, with lovely staff who are incredibly friendly and welcoming. They upgraded us, with very little extra cost, to a room with a brilliant view of the garden with a balcony. Breakfast was very good too. It's located a short distance from the main centre. We felt this was ideal, as we love to walk. It's also a beautiful walk from the conference centre (3.5km or so by the gorgeous river). Overall very impressed with this hotel and would absolutely choose this again.

If you want a little luxury and treat yourself to a very good hotel, then this is definitely worth your while. It is very central to all the attractions, with proximity to nearby Egyptian Museum, plenty of shops and restaurants. We were upgraded to a suite on the 6th floor (of 8 floors) and it was luxurious, decorated in Italian style. The staff were courteous and helpful. The breakfast was good. Also the location was excellant for nipping back to relax in between outings.

Room tip: room with a view over city at the back of the hotel

I can't fault this lovely hotel right in the centre of Turin, which has fantastic views from the higher floors - I had views across the city to the Alps. My room was huge and bathroom luxurious, with windows that actually opened wide and a very comfy bed and pillows. The lobby bar was very friendly and the complementary aperitivo snacks were delicious. Breakfast was pretty good. The pool and spa was a welcome surprise that I hadn't spotted in the listing. The location is very central, about five minutes walk from the main station / metro station / airport bus stop and right in the centre of the main shopping and restaurant district but tucked back on a slightly quieter street. Overall this was a little slice of luxury for a very modest price.

Room tip: Best views from the higher floors

We stayed there for two nights in mid October, together with our six year old daughter. The room was bright and spacious. The breakfast was very good -but not outstanding. The staff was indeed superb! The whole place was very clean and elegantly furnished. It is situated in a quiet area overlooking the park Del Valentino and Po river. Maybe a bit too expensive. I definitely recommend it.
