We spent 2 nights at this hotel in early May. It is an easy 10 minute walk from the train station and located in the centre of town. We opted for a 3 bed room, although we are a couple it was nice to have the extra space. The room was at the end of the building so we had windows on 3 sides. Lovely and bright and spotlessly clean. Also the room was nicely finished with wood trim and furniture which gave it a rustic homey feel. The bathroom , although tiny, was just fine and the room was very quiet, as none of the rooms face the Main Street out front. This is a family run hotel, and we were received wonderfully by the family, who helped us with travel and sightseeing advice. Breakfast was excellent, with a big selection of breads, buns, meats, cheeses, cereals, fruits, juices, etc. And coffee, served in your own coffee pot that kept the coffee scalding hot! Altogether excellent value for the money in a wonderful little town that has so much to offer to the visitors. Only wish that we could have stayed longer but looking forward to coming back again !

Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was ample and varied, and the room was clean, quiet, and pleasant. The restaurant associated with the hotel (open for lunch only) was also excellent. We would gladly stay there again.

My husband and I stayed here for one night a couple weeks ago. The rooms were clean and perfect for what we needed. The breakfast was more than enough food to satisfy our appetite and the location was perfect for exploring Bolzano. We felt welcome from the beginning by the incredibly helpful and friendly staff. Would highly recommend a stay here! Loved our room with views of the mountains from the terrace.

We (party of six - 3 adults and 3 children) stayed one night here. Perfect location for the Christmas markets. Our check in was done efficiently by a friendly and multi lingual staff member. He recommended places to eat close by which was very helpful. We ate at a pizza place recommended and it was very good and cheap (around 10 euro for a whole pizza and drink - more than enough for one adult). Our rooms were spotless, warm and sizeable. Shower pressure good and water hot. Beds were comfortable. The breakfast was included in the hotel price and it was great - coffee made for you, good range of meats, cheese, breads, yogurt etc. Friendly breakfast staff who were very kind and understanding of our poor Italian language skills. There is parking available for 5 euro. All up a fabulous stay and would definitely stay there again.

We recently returned from a 6 week trip to Italy where we stayed at 12 different lodgings. Hotel Feichter was one of the nicest places. The staff was wonderful; very friendly, helpful, and attentive. We were made to feel very welcome and at home. We were allowed to store food and wine in their walk-in refrigerator. The room was of adequate size and was very clean; the bathroom was small but all bathrooms in Italy are small. This is the only bathroom in Italy that didn't have a bidet in the way! The balcony on the 3rd floor had a view of the mountains over the buildings next door and was a nice place to enjoy a bottle of prosecco in the late afternoon (although it is a very sunny and hot location). The breakfast served was very good with a choice of cooked eggs as well as a variety of fruit, yogurt, and of course wonderful fresh pastries. Service was excellent. This is a great location if you are traveling by train; only a 5 minute walk from the station. It is also close to many restaurants; the hotel staff had very good recommendations. Lunch at the hotel was great but they are not open for dinner. There is no air conditioning in the room, just a fan; but this was O.K. in September.

Room Tip: We were on the 3rd floor at the very end, so there were three windows that allowed for good ventilation. This room was quiet.
