Easter week

So, don’t know where to start. We had high expectations for this hotel. Unfortunately, didn’t’ go as hoped. Really, REALLY rude people at the reception. At the arrival we were just parked at the garden to wait for the room. We didn’t check in early.
Later my wife went to the reception to ask for fitness offers they have. She was told to go to the hotel website and book from there. Not much help as the person at the reception barely got up to “help”…
As we were checking out, I asked if I could borrow the luggage wagon to bring our luggage down from the room. “Lady” at the reception had one word answer, NO, in a were rude and unfriendly voice and tone. Later found out that these wagons are not to be used without “a driver” from the hotel. Please note that this was a normal wagon that you see in lots of hotels. No hi tech…
This hotel could have so much potential if the management would treat the customers as, well, customers.

Room tip: Choose an other hotel.

we are happy to write you the answer in English, even though we know that your family also speaks good German.

Thank you very much for your feedback. First of all, we would like to say that we certainly do not "park" our guests in the garden, but that we always offer our guests an aperitif there on arrival, so that we can do the parking service for the car and the luggage service as well as the registration for our guests during this time. In your case, the parking service was different in that you arrived with a large camper and could not drive it into the garage because of its oversized size. So we had already reserved a parking space for you in advance, which we wanted to show you first. The colleague came right afterwards with the luggage cart to take your luggage. Your wife was busy with your child and dog, so she seemed to be a bit stressed and didn't really notice what we had to offer. - Anyway, on the way to your room we explained everything about our house, as we always do, and told your wife that she was welcome to book Fitness online via our system (not homepage) and that we would help if she wanted, but this was not necessary, because your wife got on excellently with this system and booked a lot via it. As for the luggage wagon on departure, it is always the case that we actually only offer the luggage wagon with a "chauffeur" and not because it is so valuable or high-tech, but because it simply remains in the care of our porter, even more so on a heavy departure day like yours, so that we always know where the wagon, which is needed non-stop, is. We cannot quite understand why you find our luggage service, which we also offered to you, an unfriendly gesture.

3 wonderful nights in Merano

I would have never expected this kind of service from an Hotel in Merano. Everything was simply perfect. We were upgraded by the owner to a romantic suite and believe me when I say that the room was at the level of Four seasons or Ritz Carlton suites. Breakfast was incredible every morning. Internet super fast. There are and open air infinity pool and an indoor pool. We hang out at the pool one full day and it was very relaxing. There is a small gym and spa. 2 floor parking garage (you will never run out of spots) I met the owner (her) and she was exquisite. I believe she is also a painter and you can admire her work all accross the property. There is soooo much. I really suggest you visit this Hotel if you ever come to Merano.

Excellent. Plan ahead to make the most of this

Location is great. On a hill above the centre of Meran. 15 min walk to the centre or to the wonderful Tappainerweg for a stroll along the hillside.

Really super service from the moment you arrive. Really, really good food, with fabulous service.

Place has plenty of parking.

Our only regret was that by booking late, we did not pre-book the spa. We missed out.

Relax, wonderful rooms, splendid everything

The hotel was beyond expectations. Friendly staff, wonderful big suite, attention to details from all the very friendly and professional staff.
In the restaurant, the food and ambience were great.
And the spa and amenities there world class.
Great place to relax.

Paradise in South Tirol

We were here for a weekend, and we were super lucky with the weather. The hotel grounds comprise several different outdoor lounging areas with plenty of comfortable seating, including a huge roof terrace with jacuzzi. There is also a wonderful heared outdoor pool where we swam every morning while taking in the fantastic mountain views. There is also a very nice indoor pool in connection with the spa. My wife had both manicure and massage there, and it was one of her best spa experiences ever. The welcome when we arrived for check-in after midnight was very accommodating, young Christian took very good care of us. This hotel oozes luxury, but it's family run and it shows in the personal and friendly service. The area is beautiful, with many opportunities for sightseeing, but the hotel and its grounds are so inviting you just want to spend all day there. We did participate in a wine tasting outing in the foothills organized by the hotel staff, driving in their old VW buses, a great experience. Our room was large, with wooden floor and a big balcony, all tastefully decorated. The hotel is also an oasis for cigar smokers, with two amazing lounges, but there is so much space and other lounges in the hotel that other guests hardly notice the reserved space for smokers. As with the Southern Tirol area in general, the hotel offers a nice mix of Austrian and Italian flair, an interesting and impressive place. We will be back. I forgot to mention that the restaurant was too notch, as you would expect.
