he hotel is located way out of the center of Merano. The neighborhood is not charming, and has very little of interest. On the other hand the hotel itself is very nice, right across the street from one of the two train stations in Merano, with easy connections to the center by bus or train. The hotel also has a bar/restaurant which is open late, and breakfast is good with made to order coffee, and a variety of cheeses, cold cuts, jams, yogurt, juices and pastries. They would even make you a soft boil egg on request. There is free parking in front of the hotel, and a small free parking area across the street. If you are in the mood for greasy finger foods, such a hot dogs and burgers, a small place across the street serves them till late at night. Overall, a good budget hotel.More
