We stayed here in July, arriving fairly late at night to a room where the AC could barely cope with the heat, Well, actually, it couldn't, so they moved us down the hallway. It was much the same, so in the morning we complained and got moved to the other side of the hallway, where the AC units were newer and worked much better.
Ask for a room facing the street/the front of the hotel, if you are there during the warmer months.
The rooms here are large and the bathrooms are huge. WiFi is free, the breakfast selection is so-so (some cereals, bread, one cheese, one coldcut meat, a bowl of whole fruit), and the breakfast lady is very pleasant. There isn't much info for tourists available and the desk staff doesn't seem enthusiastic about their jobs. The maid, on the other hand, was cheerful and smiling. Go figure!
Rooms include a desk, TV, luggage racks, good plumbing, and GREAT beds. I wish Trip Advisor had a "good" rating, in additon to "very good." This hotel is really above average--especially for a place off the beaten path in Italy.More
