“Awesome family holiday”
Reviewed 2 May 2012

Myself, wife and 2 children stayed here the last week in April 2012. The resort was only half full so we got a room upgrade and very open ski slopes. It was our first skiing holiday and we all had an amazing time, the food was absolutely gorgeous and nothing was to much to ask. The skiing was brilliant and the ski instructors excellent with us and the children. The whole epxerience was positive, the club staff brilliant and friendly, the pool was a lovely 27 C and we used it each day after skiing. I would highly reccommend this resort for a wonderful family holiday and would definitely visit it again

I spent a fabulous holiday in this Club Med. Everyting was great, we found a very nice and friendly GO team, rooms and public places were very clean, the buffets delicious, and the shows beautiful. The costume designer really loves his job.
The most surprising thing this year was the snow... Powdersnow at end April.... we have not seen this for many years.
Congratulations to the Chef de Village; he does an amazing job.

Once again a wonderful week with Club Med. Really like the feel of this hotel. The staff were the most helpful we have ever experienced. Food as always top notch and a lovely change to be able to eat on the mountains. Great skiing. Only irritation is all the walking you have to do lumbering skis on your shoulders.... hotel to bus to gondola to lifts... lots of walking and I hate walking...

Bedroom lovely - although the beds are very hard...and my pillows very very flat... had to order a few more :)

Will come back...

This was the third year in a row that I have spent 2 weeks at this particular Club Med and I love it more after each visit.
Yes, the hotel exterior is a tad tired looking but the rooms are large and very quiet, and very clean. It is worth it to upgrade to a deluxe room as they are quite nicely decorated.
The staff are completely amazing, always cheerful and friendly and prepared to assist you in every way possible. Antonio is the new Chief of Village and I swear this man never sleeps, he was very visible throughout our entire stay.
The skiing is spectacular, there are not a lot of expert runs but the incredible scenery and extraordinarily long runs more then make up for that. Your lift pass is good on 3 mountains and even at the end of our two week stay we still hadn't skied everything we wanted to. Our ski guide/instructor was great, with lots of local knowledge that he shared with us. We skied with fantastic people both weeks, the ski school do a good job of matching you up with similar ability skiers, and they will make exchanges of people if necessary to make everyone happy.
The food at this Club is beyond great. The mid mountain lunch restaurant (Tuktu) is fantastic, there are plenty of light options as well as full course meals, amazing desserts and delicious espresso made to order. The restaurant at the hotel is incredible, the dinner choices are huge and varied, tons of options for even the pickiest of eaters. The pastas changed nightly and were always al dente and delicious even though made in huge quantities.
I whole heartedly recommend this Club for families, couples or groups of adults.
I'm already trying to figure out my dates for next year.

This was our second visit to Club Med, Cervinia on a family skiing holiday, and our second trip was just as good as our first.

We travelled from Glasgow direct to Turin. This isn't a published brochure route, and last year we found out you just need to ask when booking and Club Med put you on the TUI flight from Glasgow - perfect!

Hotel rooms were adjoining with kids, perfectly appointed with a fridge and TV, plenty of space, but they are all twin bed rooms.

The best bit by miles is the food, which is outstanding. The buffet selection and daily variety was mind-blowing, you could eat a different breakfast and dinner every day for the week, all of which are 5*

Shuttle bus to cable car station was frequent and fast.

Only negative - the swimming pool is freezing!

And if I was a young couple without kids, the place is full of children from the UK and France mainly so if you want peace and quiet, book Sertorelli!

Room Tip: They all look good

this is our second time staying at Club Med Cervina and it was even better than the last. They had taken aboard some comments that we made last year and put a table tennis table in and more activities to do in the evenings. They has also moved the shows into another room which meant the noise didn't take over conversations or card games.
- the food, as usual, was amazing with different types such as gourmet, Mediterranean and traditional foods each night. there was much to chose from and we were able to try foods that we had never had before. we were never hungry as there was afternoon snacks and nibbles before dinner.
- This year we were in a completely different block to the last, which meant it was a bit of a walk to our room which we didn't mind. the rooms were bigger with bigger TVs, beds, wardrobes and space to move around in. the only let down was not having a bath, but to be honest I wouldn't have had time for one.
- the staff were lovely and always went out of their way to make everything better for us. some of the bar staff even remembered what drinks we wanted. the GO's were great and made life more exciting for us teenagers. They all made us feel very welcome with music and BBQ's to great us when we arrived from skiing in the afternoon.
- the skiing was amazing, with lift passes which meant we could go across to Zermatt so we were never bored. the snow parks were also really good.
- the skiing groups were not as good as last year because many people were put into level 6 so they split the English and Belgium's up and we didn't get as fun instructor. We wanted to do different runs and go across the boarder, off piste ect, we stayed on the same runs which meant for some days we skied with our families and friends.
- if you are a tennager i would defiantly recommend going in the ski groups as you meet lots of friends.
- the night-life was also great with the club Gasoline and lots of bars such as the Yette.
- the only let down was the week we went many people were ill and in a hotel that size it spreads very quickly.
- there is also a smoking area inside the building.
- very good quality skis and boots with everyone having a locker per room which had heaters to dry your boots.
- there are a lot of small children who stay up surprisingly late which does get fairly annoying.

overall another amazing holiday and we can't wait to go back next year. we have left with lots of new friends and great memories.

Excellent. Staff and food superb. Nothing too much trouble. If the room wasn't perfect, (only minor things such as the safe not working initially - soon fixed) service more than made up for it. Really convenient enabling maximum skiing and overall ease/comfort. Lovely - will definitely go again. Don't know if this is a typical Club Med but it will take some beating. And of course, access to the superb huge skiing area of Cervinia/Zermatt a real bonus. Skiing down to the hotel each night also great. And I gather it's a real bonus having a Club med restaurant on the slopes as well - this was terrific - you were warmly welcomed by the same staff you saw - it seemed - both night and morning - and good choice of fresh food, drinks....and a sun terrace.

Room Tip: I suspect we were in a basic room - but we had great views and if it wasn't the biggest in the w...
