At the L'Incontro Cuisine Academy there are two sessions per day, and sometimes even three: for lunch time, dinner and then at the closing time of the City Theatre. This is what Treviso Citizens and Passerbyes think about L'Incontro Ristorante, which is in a perfect symbiosis with the City, as well as the City is with the Sile River... My husband and i had 1 night in Treviso. We were staying at the Carlton and L'Incontro was across the street. It was a Friday at 7:30 and not crowded. There is a larger room with tables, but also little private booth tables that are quiet and lovely. The service was attentive without hovering. There's a huge antipasta bar, but we split a prima (salmon ravioli w/ zucchini and tomatoes, and then each had an entree which was just right for us. They pour prosecco (which is local - we'd spent the day cycling through vinyards) gratis when you sit down, and there was a basket of bread and butter. The food was all excellent and the presentation pretty. And, at least by US standards, it was not expensive for fine dining. We recommend it!

We were 2 vegans with a 1.5 hour train layover in Treviso searching for a lunch restaurant and fortunately stumbled upon this exceptional restaurant!! Service was excellent, and we had the “starter” buffet as lunch. The quality and variety of vegan and vegetarian options was truly deluxe and delicious! An absolutely stunning find! The only complaint, which could be because we only speak English, was we were not informed that the buffet is a one time one plate price. We are used to all you can eat buffets so we modesty filled our plates, then went back for seconds and only had a small amount of food, but were charged for 2 plates. We did not complain because the food was delicious, but that 2nd small plate was expensive! Highly recommend this restaurant for vegan and vegetarians.

The food here was superb and the quality of the pasta and prosseco compared to other places shone through. It's not cheap and it's not expensive and it is value for the quality. Traditional dishes and free glass of quality prosseco on arrival.

We recently spent a night in Treviso and were recommended this special restaurant for dinner. What a recommendation! The warm welcome we received when we arrived set the scene for a truly memorable evening. We were greeted with a glass of Prosecco and the owner spent considerable time talking us through the menu and making recommendations. The menu was broadly varied, consisting of classic Northern Italian dishes and made good use of local ingredients in season. The food we chose was simply presented, but cooked to perfection. The waiters were friendly and attentive throughout the meal, but not obtrusive. We cannot recommend this gem of a restaurant highly enough.

After reading a number of positive reviews on TA we decided to book on a recent Weekend Break to Treviso, I e mailed for a reservation and it was acknowledged very efficiently.
Situated close to the River and Rail Station, hidden under a archway.
Warm welcome upon arrival from staff by name on my booking.
The anti pasti buffet looked amazing but at 15 Euros per person was too expensive for us.
We choose a pasta first course which was very good, and after recommendations from the staff selected the lamb chops and fillet steak, both were amazing.
We finished sharing a Tiramisu which was again excellent.
I enjoyed a local 75ml craft beer and few glasses of local produced wine.
The total bill was approx 100 Euro, but this was reflected in the quality of the food and personal service we received.
