I stayed a couple of nights at this hotel as I visited Venice to run the marathon. It's a 15 minute walk (or a short bus ride) through a quiet suburban neighbourhood to Mestre train station, which is handy for registration (the free shuttle bus took to the registration center at Park Guiliano goes from here) and handy for the run itself (the buses to the start at Stra also go from Mestre). It's also easy to get from the hotel to the main public transport in Venice for touristy stuff.
The hotel put on breakfast at 6am on Sunday so that the marathon running guests could have something to eat before getting the 7am bus to the start.
Breakfast was simple but good, with good coffee. The room was clean and spacious, although the TV was tiny. All the staff I met were friendly and helpful.
I would definitely consider staying here again if I go back to Venice.More
