Such a beautiful, yet unassuming luxury hotel. For us it was the perfect location: on a beautiful but quiet canal, 2 minutes walk from the Academia Bridge (and that view!) and 15-20 minutes to St Mark's Square. It was convenient, but away from the bustlier and tackier tourist areas.

From start to finish the staff were friendly and helpful, and there were many nice touches: little canapés with our drinks in the bar, the complimentary boat ride to Murano, and a Murano glass sweet as a turn down gift on the last evening.

The room (a deluxe double), was opulent in the extreme, but also comfortable. The shower was divine. Breakfast was included and tasty.

Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend and would definitely return.

Room tip: Deluxe double was lovely.

We stayed for four nights at this excellent hotel. The building is beautiful and interesting. The rooms were fabulous with all you could need except some free water ! The breakfast was very good and the staff helpful , friendly and knowledgable. They recommended local restaurants before we came all of which were good.
One of the best hotels we have stayed in!

This is a beautifully done hotel consisting it was renovated a couple of years ago. The service was very good. The room (203) despite being the next grade up was the smallest of the classic doubles and I think this was determined when they found out I was a solo traveller. The location is good, some 20 minutes away from St. Mark's on foot, but there are a few good restaurants and bars nearby. The art gallery is nearby as well and worth a visit for 14th-16th century art. Do try the little bar/ wine shop just up from the hotel, it's an off licence which sells wine by the glass and some nibbles, mini sandwiches etc. Always busy but great.
The room was very comfortable with a nice shower room, no bath...not that I wanted one. My slight gripe was the cost of the items at the bar etc. Very expensive. 10 euros for a glass of chianti when it is 5-7.50 elsewhere. Other drinks were inflated as well. Hotel bars tend to be more expensive but bring it down a little and you would probably have more people having a drink in. Breakfast was included but if you wanted fried eggs it seemed according to a little menu that was extra and not just a couple of euros. It's good but not exceptional in my opinion, which is suggested by its high ranking.

Dear JIMVIN,

we are delighted that you enjoyed your stay during your recent visit to Venice. We are so pleased that you enjoyed the Palace, the service provided by our Staff as well as our location.

we are sorry that you found our Bar prices too high. we think that the differences could be found respect the mentioned places in relation with the service, the location where the drinks are served and the little touches offer by our Bartender. Anyway we thank you that you reported because as you know we are new and the reviews could help us to improve our service. This matter will be escalated to the appropriated departments. Thank you again for choosing to stay with us and I very much look forward to welcoming you back in the near future.

Best Regards

This extremely beautiful hotel is very elegant with massive chandeliers, spacious rooms with much gorgeous marble. It is filled with incredible decor that you would find in a Palace. The Lounge room upstairs is breathtaking with marble walls and beautiful decor. The staff could not be more gracious, considerate and kind. It totally is the best experience.

Weekend break to Venice. Hotel room was great, very spacious, very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom. Was like the photos on hotel website. We had breakfast included, good continental buffet breakfast, coffee was good. Staff all very helpful. Hotel runs a free water taxi to the Murano island to the glass museum, which was great bonus. Hotel location is good, only a 15 minute walk to San Marco or rialto bridge, walking through nice streets. close to the boat-bus to rest of venice and to the train/coach station. Stayed 7-9th December. Overall excellent hotel, would stay there again
