Although frequent visitors to Venice, we had never stayed at the Principe before this November. What a pleasant discovery it turned out to be! Located close to the train station, the hotel proved to be a great place from which to launch our trips to points of interest, whether by vaporetto or foot. We were impressed from the start by the hospitality of Antonio, the Principe desk clerk we met on our arrival. Our room was very comfortable and well maintained. The breakfasts were more than adequate, with fresh fruit, eggs, ham, bacon, cheese, cereals, yogurt and pastries. What more could one ask for? We had dinner there on our first night and found it to be quite satisfactory, especially enjoying the spinach and cheese cannelloni. and the panna cotta with raspberry sauce.
We would not hesitate to return to such an inviting hotel.More
