Before this turned into the charming boutique hotel it is, there used to be a greengrocer s store here! This was in the days when Dorso Duro was still very much a venetian- only part of town...

This small hotel is refined both in its decoration, rooms and details. Breakfast, in the design breakfast room where a wide selection of books on Venice is on display- providing nourishment for the mind - is plentiful, fresh and delicious. Very helpful and charming staff. The DD724 , near the Peggy Guggeheim Museum, Punta Dogana and not far from the San Marco area, is just perfectly located if you are not set on having a room overlooking the Canal Grande or if your idea of your place to stay in Venice is not that of an ornate eighteenth century venetian style hotel...

The room was very good. There were all types of communication facilities, including satellite TV and wifi. Hotel's owner lady helped us for everything include restaurant reservations. Lovely hotel, lovely and helpful staff, great management. Thanks for everything. Herman Isci.

We stayed at the 694 suite which is just down the block from the main hotel, the room was big, comfortable and nicely designed. The location is great, really close to the academia bridge just step out of noise.
The only thing is the price - even for the crazy expensive venice, its not cheap...

Charming House DD694 is a great place, just next door to the Guggenheim Collection. It overlooks Campiello Barbraro, which, in my opinion, is the most romantic “campo” (it means “square”) in Venice. It is full of trees, Palazzo Barbaro on the back and Ponte Storto, from where you can admire Canal Grande. I am very happy you loved it as I do. CB

We very much enjoyed our short stay at Charming House DD724. It is deally located away from the well beaten tracks but easily accessible using the ferries. It is a very well appionted hotel with caring staff and a very good breakfast to prepare one for the days of exploring. Good local restaurants as well. Well recommended by Mr and Mrs Smith.

We stayed at Charming House's DD694 suite. The suite was large and well appointed in a modern style. The staff were extremely helpful. The hotel is located at the Accademia bridge and Vaporetto boat stop on the Grand Canal, one stop from San Marco. It is also accessible from the Zattere boat line. So travel around Venice was easy and relatively inexpensive (we recommend that you get the vaporetto 3 day pass for Euro 35). Despite its central location, the room was tranquil. It was also luxury with double sinks, a rainshower, separate kitchenette and lots of windows.

Thank you dear guest. I'm very glad you loved your appartment in D694. The furniture in there is the same contempory design as well as in the DD724. What is unique about this is the optimal location. It overlooks the most beautiful Campiello 'Barbaro Ca' di Venezia quiet, tree-lined and with a magnificent view of Ca 'Dario. Thank you very much and I'll wait for you soon
