This is a lovely hotel right in the heart of Venice. Tucked away in a courtyard just off the main streets . It is within a short walking distance to all of the sights. Our room was beautifully decorated with everything we needed. The staff were extremely helpful with directions and restaurant recommendations. The breakfast buffet was excellent. I would not hesitate to return or recommend this hotel to anyone.

Quiet but central location. Hotel staff were friendly and extremely helpful with directions, reservations and suggestions. The room was clean and beds comfortable with quality bed linens. Good shower. We received a free bottle of Procecco served in the bar as a part of the hotel's anniversary promotion. Breakfast was included. Very good selection of foods to suit travelers from different countries. Excellent choice. Would book again.

We really enjoyed our trip to beautiful Venice and the hotel was brilliant. The location is fantastic, right between st Marks and the Rialto bridge we couldn’t ask for more. The hotel is tucked away so can be difficult to find but really is a gem. The service is very professional and we had an excellent breakfast every day with a very wide variety of breakfast items. As we booked directly with the hotel we received a free bottle of prosecco which we had on my birthday there. Our room was small but well equipped and cleaned everyday. Thank you so much!

The staff are professional and courteous (except perhaps the lady who manages the breakfast!). The hotel is very clean, and located in a quiet hidden corner of central Venice. It's walking distance to everywhere - but can be difficult to find at first. The hotel provide a map when you book to make it easier. The selection of breakfast foods is vast and it's delicious. The hotel is about 5 mins walk to a few water taxi stations and literally within walking distance to all major sights (you won't need a water taxi while sightseeing).

It would be great if there was a tea-making facility in the room. Otherwise I'd stay here again.

We stayed at the Al Codega for two nights and while I paid more for the room than I normally would anywhere else because Venice is a crazy expensive city, I was well rewarded for my cost. The hotel is in a delightful courtyard between the Rialto Bridge and St, Marks Square. We could see the Campanile from our window. The bathroom was luxurious and the bed very comfortable. The large breakfast buffet was a feast for the eyes and the stomach. The concierge was very welcoming and helpful.
I highly recommend the Al Codega for your stay in Venice.
