“Perfect! ”

We stayed here for our first time in Venice with our 15 year old daughter and 12 year old son. The neighborhood was fantastic- away from the tourist crowds and more in the local area, away from the beaten path. It was very close to shops, restaurants, and the Giardini bus stop to Lido :) The apartment was spacious, had AC (which was imperative for us in the 95 degree weather!), the bathroom was big with fantastic shower, and the beds were comfortable. I'd definitely recommend these accommodations!!

Giardino delle Vergini is the perfect location for a wonderful holiday.
The apartment itself is cozy, inviting and comfortable with everything you need for a very pleasant stay.
The area is quiet and peaceful, away from the madding crowd ,but close to Via Garibaldi with its colourful restaurants and shops.
The busy sights of San Marco are only about 15 minutes walk and the vaporetto stop is five minutes away.
There is a well stocked small supermarket just two minutes from the apartment.
Roberto, the owner, was extremely helpful and kind
I would not hesitate to repeat or recommend to friends and relatives.
If you are going to go to Venice and would like to experience the REAL Venice, stay at Giardino delle Vergini and let yourself live like a Venetian.

“Great location with a fabulous patio”

When we decided to stay at this apartment we did not really know if the location, been on the tail of the fish, could be a problem in exploring this beautiful city. We changed out mind as soon we got to this fully equipped apartment and meet the owner, who added a pleasant part of the stay - Roberto. He gave us a recommendation of a couple of pleasant restaurant where we had excellent meals at the proper price, helped to solve the problem with one device that wouldn't connect to the free Internet, gave us informations about Murano factories, events and activities in the city but most of all he was very sincere to assist us any time.
The Castello area of Venice is the one that mostly represent the city lived by the Venetians but there is also a lot of charisma and the future developments looks like are naturally incline toward the art path and not the frenetic consumistic tourism.
It reminds me of an early 90's SoHo!
We'll most definitely stay here next time we will come to Venice.
