“Great location, great breakfast, excellent value”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 7 March 2012

We loved the location of the Accademia. It was very central for sites, shopping and good restaurants. As a very genuine 4 star hotel, we were pleasantly surprised by the value it represented. One of the best breakfasts we have enjoyed in Europe and we enjoyed late night drinks in its comfortable and friendly lobby bar. Secure parking was good, if a little expensive and free internet was fast and effective. Would stay here again at any time.

Helpful staff, garage and an excellent location. The room just a tad stuffy and the breakfast was good by Italian standards but not International four star standard. Will probably come again if the price is right.

Room Tip: You will probably get what you pay for as there are different prices in every range.

Stayed here during a 2 night stay in Verona, the hotel is an excellent location surrounded by the main shopping streets and just a short walk to most of the attractions. The staff were always friendly and helpful, my room was basic but spacious and was very reasonable with an online deal. Breakfast was excellent and the hotel has free wi-fi, thou it can be very slow was like being back in 95! would recommend staying here if you want to be in the old town and close to the arena.

We stayed one night last week. I loved this hotel, it had old time charm. The staff were very helpful especially when it came to parking the car ! Finding your way here in a car is very difficult, so we were happy to drive up and hand over the keys !
Our room was a good size and lovely bathroom, breakfast was good too.
Excellent location for sightseeing, Verona is a beautiful town.

Verona's old town is narrow and crowed. Most hotels in this area are in fact squeezed in between other more or less ancient buildings, offering no view at all, other than right to the walls and windows of the next property. In this case the view was dominated by cranes and scaffolding for comprehensive renovation in the back yard, but it was really no problem. It was quiet at night, and when in Verona, who sits in the room during daytime? The location is excellent for the tourist with focus on culture and exclusive shopping, but may be not ideal for the business visitor with tight schedule. The room was clean and pleasant, bathroom well equipped and the breakfast was a little aboveI Italian business class average, with other words, quite ok. The staff appeared very friendly and helpful, everybody from the doorman to the room attendants met guests with smiles and greetings, and also the reception staff presented themselves with a high focus on service. All in all a pleasant experience.

Room Tip: If view is an issue, make some careful inquiries.

While a bit expensive, it was worth the extra Euros to be equidistant between Juliet's house and the Roman amphitheater! Breakfast was generous and the air conditioning worked its wonders on a couple of hot nights.

I spent one night at the Accademia and have overwhelmingly good things to say about it. The room was quiet, comfortable, and attractive, and the bathroom was modern and nicely maintained. (I especially liked the heated towel rack.) I also thought the breakfast was outstanding, with lots of choices for vegetarians and those with a sweet tooth. My only negative comment is about the service at the front desk. Although they were polite and professional, they weren't friendly and seemed to care little about connecting with visitors.
