Returning to this lovely little hotel within 100 yards of the Piazza we were greeted as old friends. It is hard to imagine there is any accomodation in Verona which is better value, particularly during the opera season, and it is clear that many guests return because of the overall atmosphere (even including being woken by the early morning rubbish collection !) as opposed to staying in a sterile chain hotel.Long may Senoras Silvia and Diana continue to welcome guests to this lovely city. Caterina ensures that everybody enjoys their visit and has never failed to go the extra mile.

Room Tip: Not sure there are quieter rooms but this is an old building in the centre of the city. If you want no noise at night don't come here

Location was fantastic - a short walk to the main Piazza and Coliseum, lots of amazing restaurants and shops nearby.
Breakfast was perfect: Al fresco with fresh croissants, salami, ham, cheese, yogurt and a decent cappuccino.
Staff were friendly, English-speaking and efficient.
Room had a decent shower, air-con, fridge and was clean and bright.

Only downside was the noise of garbage trucks early in the morning (6am) but this was not their fault.

Actually can't believe it's only 2 star and would definitely stay here again.

Room Tip: Room on high-floor as there is a lift

We chose this Hotel as the location was good according to reviews. It was a fantastic location very close to all you could need in this beautiful city.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. The staff were all lovely, especially Caterina who helped us and chatted with us at length. Nothing was too much trouble and the staff made our stay in the city all the more enjoyable. All their recommendations were superb and we ate very well. We loved having breakfast al fresco at the hotel and in the afternoon wonderful Aperol Spritz while watching the world walk by. Shops and restaurants were all very, very close as well as the sights you go to Verona for.
This is a 2 star hotel so don't go expecting the Ritz for 2 star money, but in our opinion it was superb and we have stayed in far worse 4 star hotels. The rooms were clean and bright, the facilities more than adequate and its bustling charm only added to our Italian city break.

I chose this hotel, because of the location and it did not disappoint. It is so close to everything, that you do not need any other form of transport. The staff are friendly, our room was spacious and clean.
On downside - the bed was hard, breakfast preparing is very very noisy and it will wake up anyone staying near it or even above it. We were few rooms down and I had to put earplugs in at 6 am.

Room Tip: not the first floor, where breakfast is prepared - very noisy
