The hotel is relatively new and modern. Breakfast was excellent with a very good selection of foods offered in a bright and open dining room. Staff was generally helpful. It has some drawbacks. It is very far from the historic center and cabs are not easily obtained. Cab fare to city center ranged from 13 to 25 euros. There are very few restaurants nearby and the hotel does not offer lunch. The rooms are modern but not particularly well designed. Showers are separated from the bedroom by a clear or frosted glass wall, leaving very little privacy for shower users. The bathroom door could not be closed. A permanently affixed doorstop prevented my bathroom door from closing, leaving a two inch opening. Worse than the privacy issues, both rooms that we rented had a terrible odor that we could not eliminate for the duration of our stay. On the positive side, the bed was clean and comfortable and the A/C worked well.

I stayed at this hotel for 4 nights but I wasn't so thrilled.
Breakfast was okay, not very
diversified but good...
The strength of this hotel is definitely his employees.
Far from the center and the beach.

Nice hotel, new stylish rooms.
Do not forget to go to the wellness center. Friendly and professional staff that shows single used or sterilised instruments to use for pedicure.
The SPA is very nice and prices are not expensive.
I will get back again

Best outstanding part of everything was the cleanest room we've ever had in Italy. Very close to american standards, showers are comfortable with design features. Open view, even if far from the heart of Bari. Can't think another address in Bari

We chose Hi Hotel in Bari mainly to the services it seemed to have offer. Compared to the other hotels we were choosing from HiHotel was the only one with a pool.

Despite the location far away from city center, we decided to go with the pool option. It was not the cheapest choice, but we wanted some luxiority with outdoor pool with sun beds, indoor steam bath and excellent beds with adjustable matrasses. It was informed on their website prior by the time of booking that steam bath would be out of use for some days during our stay, so we were aware of that. Nothing was mentioned about the pool not being in use.

By arrival we found out that the path to the pool was closed for some weeks and we could use neither the sunbeds nor the pool. With 26 degrees and sunshine that would have been the only thing we wanted: lay down, read a book, take a nap. We felt utterly dissapointed and misslead by the advertising to pay for services we could not use and based on which we had chosen the hotel. We also mentioned we could - by our own risk - take the steps and only occupy two chairs and not be on the maintennance’s way. But no, we could not use it, they said. No apologies, nothing. The room price included the use of pool area but we were given nothing to compensate it.

Another dissapointment was the well-advertised beds with pressure-adjustment-system. Well, ours did not work, but only had holes in the matresses and the pressure did not go up or down. Mentioned about it and left a note to the maintenance. Nothing happened. Had the worst back and neck pain ever after this week at Hi Hotel. Photos show the real state of the adjustments of the beds.

Overall the spirit is not positive, as the place is lacking heart and warmth. The service varies too much for a 4-star-hotel depending on who sits at the reception.

We probably weren’t the target group of this hotel, as it seemed to identify itself as a business or a conference hotel but nevertheless - every paying customer should be treated as equally important.

Wanted to share our experience here but will definitely send a reclamation to hotel management to see, how they treat it.

I am really sorry that your stay at the Hi hotel has disappointed your expectations.
In any case, please consider that our outdoor swimming pool officially opens from May 1st to September 1st, but actually, due to an update of our property website, any information about that was mentioned. I'm apologise!
Regarding the bed instead, our maintenance is promptly activated in order to solved your problem.
