A fine spacious historic apartment on the second floor near the sea front and a short walk from the old walled city. We were a party of 8 (6 adults and 2 children) comfortably accommodated in 4 bedrooms sharing 2 bathrooms and a kitchen/diner. Bari can get hot during the summer months, and the high ceilings help keep the temperature reasonable.
The teatro Petruzelli is nearby with a taxi rank opposite, and there are bars, restaurants and shops nearby. The old city is a wonderful maze of alleyways, churches, a fortress, bars, restaurants, museums and art galleries, with a spectacular view from the walk along ramparts across the harbour.
