Owner description: Since 2009 we have made it our business to make sure that visitors of our beautiful island have a most pleasant stay. Our multilingual guides (English, German, Italian, Spanish, etc.) have become a real trademark of Go-Etna. Who could bring a foreign country closer to you than a local? Getting to know the place by taking a “look behind the scenes” – we have been following this principle for years. Beside the classical highlights, our guides will show you the authentic Sicily from their perspective. Among our standing and satisfied customers we reckon hotels, camping sites, cruise ship passengers, company clients, travel agencies, tour operator and tourist facilities in the area of Catania and Taormina. The GO-ETNA team and our partners have the ability to meet the requirements of all our customers, with a team of experienced staff, a well-equipped vehicle fleet and technical material. Our business is to offer the perfect service to every client, to make come true even the most challenging, individual requirements and to leave no question about Sicily unanswered.

What a fabulous day from start to finish- an incredible experience. Our guide Francesco was superb, lots of humour and really made the day special. We were in a group of 5 and we all bonded so well and English was the main language, so easy to understand for everyone. Pick up punctual and day explained properly. Our Etna walks were excellent, a bit hairy when you are out on the top of the ridges as it gets very windy, I felt slightly exposed but layer up and it wasn't too cold. Do wear a decent pair of walking shoes as the ash can be a bit slippery when coming down.

The ice cave was great fun and a different experience yet again. We were on the full day and the Lunch was delicious- we sat at long tables and everyone chatted easily whatever nationality. The off roading was fun and the Alcantara Gorge was beautiful to finish the day.

This was a highlight of the week - would thoroughly recommend this tour and Go Etna really look after everyone- fantastic. Try and have Francesco as your guide, his enthusiasm is infectious but all the guides appeared super, so no need to worry.

We took the half-day Etna tour on a beautifully, sunny September afternoon. There were 4 our us, and our driver, Antonio, picked us up at the hotel, which is always a plus. He was both knowledgable and fun, and though he kept apologizing for his English, he did just fine. We met up with the other jeeps, and continued on to the mountain. The actual tour guide spoke several languages easily, readily welcomed questions, and was both helpful and friendly. Hiking across the lava fields on a day clear enough to see the top of Etna and climbing down through the lava tunnels were two amazing experiences that I highly recommend. Aside from the quality of the people and the experience, what really impressed me was the way our driver and our guide dealt with an unexpected issue that arose for us. As it turned out, our two friends were not able to do the second, hour-long hike. They graciously offered to wait in the car, but rather than that, since the four of us were in a car alone with Antonio, our driver, we asked permission to have him leave the tour and continue his own half-day tour for us by car. I was very pleased ( and surprised) when the go-Enta guide agreed to this. So, we broke from the tour and Antonio took us to a number of magical places, both on and off-road. He was wonderful, and we got to see gorges, a tiny chapel tucked away in the woods, and other sites we never would have known existed. Thank you, Antonio; it was a wonderful day.

Went on the half day tour of Mt Etna today. The convenience of being picked up at your hotel was amazing and our English speaking guide was a wealth of information not only about Mt Etna but also Sicily and it's history. The scenery was breathtaking and the knowledgable guides made the day inspirational and educational. We would recommend this fabulous company to anyone. Make sure you don't leave Sicily without seeing Mt Etna. She is an amazing 'lady'.
