We had a wonderful stay with Simona and Francesco. They were always friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely en suite room that was clean and bright and the breakfast was great. We found it quiet and slept well. The location is really good too as you can walk to most sites in central Palermo from the door. The bus stop for the airport coach is only yards away. Also Piazza Politeama (also called Piazza Ruggero Settimo) where the B&B is located is on most of the city bus routes including the 101 that goes to the Central Station. Definitely recommend it.

We stayed for three nights in Palermo at the Liberta Bed and Breakfast. Simona and Francesco were lovely hosts who made a great breakfast and did our laundry on short notice. The room was comfortable and spacious and the shared bathroom was clean. Some light sleepers might find it a bit noisey (traffic) but Simona offered us ear plugs when we arrived, and neither of us had any trouble sleeping.

It is walking distance to all the main tourist attractions and it is easy to find -opposite the Teatro Politeama. Nearby is a bus stop for the airport bus Prestia & Comandè which is really convenient when you don't want to drag suitcases through the city!

The only downside was that it was occasionally difficult to catch Simona or Francesco to ask a question as we were all in and out at different times. We found the best time to catch them was breakfast time! Overall this didn't cause any disruption to our stay and we had an absolutely lovely time in Palermo at Liberta B&B.

Hello and thanks for the review done.
La Country is a room with a view over Politeama and then, on the road, so a little bit noisy. The other rooms are very quiet.
Sorry if you've ever found us when you needed even though we spend most of the morning in the structure and for everything else you could contact us by the phone.

Thanks,
Simona

Nice B&B right in the heart of Palermo. It worked out nicely for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 kids.) If you get there by car, first be aware that the driving in the big city of Palermo is crazy and it took us about 20 minutes to find parking. I recommend parking for a few minutes n front of the place to unload luggage and have someone stay with it while the other person finds parking. The location of the place is in front of a big theatre and a multi story building - ring the bell so you are let in and take the elevator to the very top floor.

Room was clean and roomy with 1 double bed and 2 single beds. The 2 hosts were friendly and helpful. Location is great and we walked to several of the top sights with no problem. One speaks good English and we had no trouble communicating. There is also a bus stop right in front of the B&B. There is a bathroom down the hall that you share and it was clean and roomy and we never had to wait.

Breakfast is brought to you in the room. The only downfall, for me, is that I eat a low carb diet and the breakfast was exclusively carb items (pastries, fruit, juice.). I would have preferred a typical European breakfast with meats, cheese, vegetables like cucumbers so I was a little disappointed with that but made do with the coffee and a few bites of a pastry just to have something in my stomach.

Also, be aware that it is a bit noisy at night but that is a tradeoff for being right in the big city of Palermo so we were okay with it.

Overall, would recommend.

Thanks for the review done.
I'm glad your stay was great enev if I would like express my opinion about the problems:

- about the parking I told you that you could leave the car in the garage or unload the car just below the b & b and then look for the place;
- About your breakfast if you had told me about your diet I would undoubtedly satisfied your request. I thought it was great;
Thanks
Simona

Lovely B&B right near the Main Street to the tourist areas. Room was very spacious with plenty of wardrobe space a desk and fold put table for if the weather was wet. Huge spacious bathroom.
Hosts were brilliant giving us loads of info when we arrived with suggestions of where to go, where to eat etc
Breakfast served on the terrace fresh coffee and pastries. Delicious.

Overall lovely accommodation and stay
