The building has a lot of character and is located in a great part of the island. Good restaurants close by. The public areas are lovely but the room was fairly basic considering the cost. There was a 'kitchen' literally in a cupboard in the 2 room apartment - not really useful for much more than boiling water. Nice view from the terrace. Wifi did not work in the room. Good choice at breakfast, although coffee was dreadful.

Very well located in Ortigia area, the hotel in in an historical building. Parking is not easy but you can park within 10 min walking distance. Rooms are spacious and clean. People very nice and competent. Breakfast is delicious and fresh.

We stayed here in October 2016; it is perfectly located on Ortigia Island, everything is within easy walking distance. We had a room located off of the courtyard, which was lovely. Very traditional with wrought iron furniture and tiled floors. The courtyard is simply stunning, with it's hanging lanterns and beautiful flowers. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is just what you need before setting off for the day. If you want to feel like you're in Sicily then stay here!

We are getting married in September 2017 and are staying here for our duration in Sicily and we have recommended it to all our guests too!

Located in the old town and very close to the water and all tourist sites; the Jewish baths underneath the building also interesting; staff are friendly and helpful but you'd need to find them! the building's old architecture is stunningly beautiful; breakfast is OK.

Room tip: an authentic experience!

Staff are helpful and are dedicated to make your stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Be sure to take time to see all the local artifacts that are on display throughout the hotel. The breakfast is tasty and has good variety.
