We had eaten here on several occasions on previous visits and always had an excellent meal . Can be disappointing if then return and not up to standard. Pleased to say that it was as good as ever. The sisters and all the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. The setting is lovely next to the. Church in a pretty courtyard. The tables are set simply but with lovely glassware. We stuck mainly with fish , having the tempura anchovies(fantastic) , linguine with tuna and filleted sea bream cooked Sicilian style! Finished with deconstructed tiramisu and. Chocolate fondant. Good and reasonably priced wine selection. Can't wait to come back!

This was recommended to us and I can see why. We did not find it straight away despite walking right through it! It is lovely in a stunning setting and very popular. We ate on a first floor balcony with a great view of the Norman building opposite. I think we got these prime seats because we had booked. The food was excellent and the staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Our waiter was a fluent English speaker which helped! Thanks to his in depth knowledge we chose a really nice local rose wine. I thoroughly recommend this place.

It was recommended by another restaurant owner / chef. Service was quick and very good. Staff were very knowledgeable. The site was so so considering that the tables were at an inclination due to the resto being on the near edge of a descent. Therefore a little tiring leaning over my plate from an awkward angle. Raw anti-pasto was good and well prepared. tuna tartare was very good. Tuna pasta was very good . Sea urchin pasta lacked flavour and texture, definitively not local. Oysters imported from France were excellent . Wine selection was very good and the biological wine from Sicily was simply fantastic (sulfite free).
We did not have desert too full from the late afternoon lunch.
For the price I would have expected much better . Then again this is only judging from what we ate. Dishes from neighbouring tables looked good. Nonetheless it was neither exaggeratedly priced. Not discouraging anyone from going. To each his own.

The location is a little unusual, tucked away with no real outlook. On arrival our first thought was the food must be amazing to be #4 and I'm pleased to say we weren't disappointed. The very friendly waiter went through the Italian menu in perfect English and you are spoilt for choice. It was our last night so my wife had the tempura, I had the tuna rolls and having been 'fished out' we both had a delicious steak. We shared a lovely pudding and for the first time all holiday, we were sat next to English people. Two charming and engaging ladies, despite their poor choice of red wine. Well worth a visit. Bustling atmosphere, young and vibrant staff - perfecto!

Decided to eat here following reviews on TripAdvisor and lived up to all the 5 star recommendations. We ate here on a Friday night, we did not have a reservation but they kindly gave us a bar type table upstairs on a terrace overlooking the restaurant. Recommend ringing ahead to book a table. The ambience of this place was spectacular, very romantic. Staff very knowledgable of the menu and spoke perfect English. Had the tempura anchovies to start, lamb in herb breadcrumbs as main and chocolate fondant for desert. Every dish was full of taste and truly splendid. Extensive wine list. Owned by 4 friends with a passion for food which certainly came across in their daily changing locally sourced menu. Really enjoyed our meal here and highly recommend.
