We happened upon this little restaurant by chance and were glad that we did. The staff were friendly and the food was very good. Everything was well cooked and the price was reasonable. A great find by walking off the main streets. An update from a previous review is that they do take credit cards.

Stopped here for lunch and found the food and service first rate. We initially had the lunchtime special of brucetta (olive and tomato) and a glass of red wine for 6 euros each. Decent sized glass of very drinkable wine and nice brucetta. We also added a pizza diavola to share. Food was good in a nice quiet square and excellent service. A decent place for lunch

We went to this place four times during our one week stay in Florence. Sometimes just for a drink and sometimes to eat.

The owner Francesco played live music almost every night and the personnel was very friendly! Good food to reasonable price!

My boyfriend and I found this little restaurant outside the bustle of Florence. We thought it looked cute and cosy, and the prices looked good. We sat down, the waitress cleaned our table immediately. We ordered water en ten minutes later we ordered a pizza and a spaghetti. However, where we sat, it smelled like urine. Also, all the tables around us were unclean.

After an hour of waiting for our food, we saw two groups of people leave their tables. The waitress did not even clean their tables yet nor did they order yet, after more than 15 minutes of waiting. We agreed that, if the food took more than 15 minutes to get to us, we would leave as well. After 75 minutes of waiting, our pizza and spaghetti arrived. The spaghetti was not cooked well; it was really hard and dull. The mozzarella on the pizza looked too burned and tasted off. Overall, the food looked and tasted like there was no effort put in to it.

We talked to a waiter, addressed the issue and when he asked : 'The food is not good?'. He walked away without saying anything. We put some euro's on the table and left. Never again.
