It was four in the afternoon, but when I saw the sign, I had to have their gelato, though we had a dinner reservation in three hours. The gelato was wonderful, just what you would expect from an artisan. Unfortunately, the shop was empty, probably more to do with the out-of-the-way location than the quality of the products sold. The server was very pleasant and helpful and the pricing was very reasonable for the quality of the gelato. Please go if you have a chance while in Florence. I'm not sure, but wonder if they see enough business due to their location, far from the tourist crowds. It would be a shame to see this shop close from a lack of business.
