Moved from a different hotel across the street that didn't meet our expectations.

This actually felt like a hotel from the minute we walked in - very nice entrance with a good size lobby and sitting area - WIFI for a fee. Very accommodating reception and promptly received a room for 3 which was big and comfortable. AC was working just fine (as opposed to the other hotel), breakfast had a good variety and parking was at the back door (and not across the street). Centrally located so walking distance from most attractions.

Do take note that at night the street below has become a hanging place for drunken locals so coming back in the late hours means you need to walk passed large loud drunk groups of people..seemed pretty harmless-just a shame that it's next to the hotel entrance.

Reception very helpful with maps and recommendations.

Very good hotel for it's price - Would stay again in a heartbeat!

Very cclean, with nice and spacious lounge. Nice room. Only gripe is that there is now a charge for the parking on site, which used to be included in the price and that the street where the hotel is situated, became seedy.

The Hotel was a good base for a 5 day trip to Florence. Comfortable rooms in a quiet hotel. Staff were helpful and had a good command of English. Breakfast was adequate with a good selection of foods on offer.

Clean, neat, rooms comfortable, no big deal. Breakfast typical, waitstaff a bit stiff. BEWARE-at night Via Palazzuola (just up from hotel and a walkway to more central locations) has become a drunk hangout. Many immigrants apparently like to meet on the street or at a "Club". Carabinieri were stationed at intersection until about 7PM. Suspect hotel will have problems if issues not resolved. Area seems to have become a bit "seedy".

Room Tip: We would not select it given a choice re: schedule. It is quite convenient to train station, daytim...

You will find all the conveniences of a 4 stars hotel, in a very central location, you are within 15 min walk from most tourist attractions in Florence; a nice surprise - hotel's private parking.
Rooms extremely clean, spacious bathroom, friendly staff (well, mostly), great breakfast. I can think of only 2 minuses: internet access is very expensive and not many options, and per pay TV was not working, though it was advertised.

The best thing about the Hotel Adriatico is the secure car park adjoining the hotel. It is close to the river so a pleasant walk to the centre of the city. It is very near the Santa Maria Novella Church and station.
We have found this time it is getting pricier as they now charge 20 euros a day for car parking, there is a 4 euro charge for city tax and internet has to be paid for. However, there are 2 internet places nearby if you don't want to use your own laptop. The rooms are good and there are some with walk in showers which is useful if you are unsteady on your legs. Plenty of good restaurants nearby. English speaking reception staff. One idea was useful, pink and blue towels in the bathroom! Tea-coffee making/iron/ironing board available on request. Nice bed linen. It is a comfortable hotel.

Room Tip: We chose rooms overlooking car park with walk in shower (superior room 424/324 etc are good). If you...

The hotel was visually lovely. The staff was very attentive and helpful. Rooms were a nice size and had a Tuscan feel. Location was good, within walking distance to the city center. The beds were rather firm, so be prepared for that. There was no Wi-Fi in the rooms and you have to pay for it ($10 Euro for 1 hour).
