“Lovely views across Florence”
Reviewed 11 May 2018 for a stay in April 2018

We rented the apartment for a week. The best aspect was the roof terrace from where we could see over central Florence and to the hills beyond. The apartment is well equipped but some of it is not well laid out - where to put washing up, for example. Bed is comfortable and, for a city centre flat, it is very quiet - apart from the chirch bells, which luckily were silent from midnight to 06:00.
The flat is right at the top of the building - about 100 stone steps and no lift. More steep steps to the terrace. No need to go to the gym while you stay here!
The street is very lively with restaurants, bars and take-aways. A supermarket 5 minutes walk away had everything we needed.

“Exceptional location!”
Reviewed 28 March 2018 for a stay in March 2018

Apartment full of light, with a great view all over Florence. Exceptional location, a few minutes walk from the Ufizzi, Palazzo Vecchio, Piazza della Signoria. Neighbourhood packed with restaurants, cafésf, bars, mini-markets and every kinds of shops. Less good was the almost 5 storeys with steep steps ( Not for everyone), and the lack of proper heating, since the heating system wasn´t working as needed.

“Worthwhile for the spectacular view”
Reviewed 16 June 2017 for a stay in June 2017

Despite the many stairs we loved our stay in this appartment. Very well located near to all major attractions. The kitchen was too basic.

“Excellent location and wonderful views”
Reviewed 6 May 2017 for a stay in April 2017

The apartment is ideally situated just behind the Palazzo Vecchio and Uffizi Gallery. The roof top terrace is a perfect place to eat lunch or enjoy a drink and has a superb view over the city as well as,in the distance, the Bardini and Boboli Gardens and Piazza Michelangelo on the other side of the Arno. The accommodation is light and airy but fairly basic. The small kitchen and bathroom are functional but the bed is surprisingly comfortable. Despite being in such a convenient and central position it is quiet, apart from the tolling of the bells. The four flights of stairs are well lit and should be fine for those who are reasonably fit and mobile.

“Cheap and Cheeful in a perfect location”
Reviewed 5 December 2016 for a stay in December 2016

The Neri appartment is on the top floor, which meant it was light with a roof top terrace which was entered via a hidden staircase in the cupboard. As you can imagine, childhood heavan, with a majestic view over the rooftops of Florence. The appartment was simple, but traditional and had everything we needed. The location was perfect, a few hundred meters from palazzo vecchio; next door to an amazing gelateria and opposite a laneway where we found authentic Italian restaurants. For all of this we happily overlooked the 4 flights of stairs and the basic kitchen.

“Much more 'tired' than photos would indicate, but views amazing”
Reviewed 30 April 2016 for a stay in April 2016

The place looks much more 'tired' than photos indicate, so that was a bit disappointing, but has a certain faded charm, terrace views are truly great - better than appears in pictures - but a table would have been nice to really enjoy (photos show table but one wasn't there). Service from apartments florence was really great, couldn't fault them!

“Excellent apartment with one of the best views in Florence!”

We stayed here for 3 nights in september 2015, after a very long climb up the 105 steps to the apartment it was definately worth it!! the apartment was clean, light and airy, we immediately felt at home. The terrace was much bigger than we had thought and had 320" panoramic views of florence!! and was the sunset just behind the dome too which produced some spectacular photos. it was also very quiet and the bed was comfortable!!
Right in the historic centre, everything was only a short walk away!! and we often just popped back to the apartment for coffee and a snack while out walking. but also very close to shops and restaurants!
We would highly reccommend this for a short stay in florence!!

Thank you for your wonderful review on our Neri Terrace apartment. This lovely apartment is located on the fourth floor of an historic building in Via de' Neri, a lively cobblestone street in the very heart of Florence's historic centre, between the beautiful Piazza Santa Croce and Piazza della Signoria. The amazing rooftop terrace offers panoramic views of the whole city of Florence on a 360˚ rotation. What an exceptional way to take in all the beauty of the Renaissance city – without having to move from home! For your next stay please don't hesitate to contact our Concierge to organize tours, restaurants and day out in the country side. We are looking forward to welcome you back. Apartments Florence Team.
