Close to shopping, dining, and museums. Extremely helpful staff, Sabrina made an extra effort each day to see to our needs. Wonderful hotel that made us feel at home. Staff recommendations were appreciated. We especially enjoyed the Central Market and Academia Museums, both within two or three blocks from the hotel. Baci Baci !!

Very helpful and friendly staff. Nice room and good location. Good choice of food for breakfast. To find the reception is to the left of the museum entrance and up the stairs. The hotel is in an old building and has been converted well to maintain its character

We had a wonderful stay here in October 2017. It was very convenient to the top tour sites and we enjoyed the hospitality given to us by the staff. We will gladly stay with this hotel again. The walk to the Duomo as well as to our walking tours and restaurants was very tourist friendly. Florence was a great walking city and of course, you don't want to miss Michelangelo's David, which is a short walk from the hotel.

We found the hotel perfect for our visit to Florence. The position couldn't be more central for all the main attractions. Good rooms, and great breakfasts. With complimentary tea, coffee (good coffee) and pastries available every afternoon.
Sabina and her staff were so friendly and helpful and advised us on places to visit and how to get there. Nothing was too much trouble.
We would certainly recommend this hotel.

This hotel has a great location! It is close to all the major sights in the city, and only a 10 minute walk from the train station Santa Maria Novella. The beds were really comfortable, and we did not have any problems with noise from the street or other guests. Our room (for 3 people) had an ok size. It was enough for us to store our luggage, yet it still felt spacious. The shower in the bathroom was a bit old, but everything was very neat and clean, which is also the most important thing for us. The beds were VERY comfortable, and the breakfast was good. One of the best things with this hotel is most definitely the staff. Very friendly people - from everyone at the reception, to those making the breakfast and coffee, and even the cleaners. Everyone was very helpful! They helped us to reserve tickets for some of the galleries, book a taxi for our departure, reserve a table at a restaurant and give us lots of good recommendations for nice places to eat. We really enjoyed our stay in Florence, and at the Hotel Colomba. Definitely recommend this!
