We wanted to spend a month in Florence to have an apartment as a hub for expanded travel as well as a home in a neighborhood we would get to know well over time with its museums, shops etc.
This apartment was a fabulous location. We had friends and family visit at different times during the month and the apartment layout was great.
Kitchen is small as other reviews said but we were still able to whip up some great meals.
Only downside was that we planned to do laundry since we were planning on a month plus of travel. There is a washer but no dryer so you do have to plan drying time. Not a problem for shorter stays I am sure. Owners were very helpful. Would stay again!

I searched so many listings for apartments in Florence and I was confident that this was the perfect fit for my family. My husband, son, mother and I took 17 days to cover quite a lot of Italy and our four days in Florence were perfection. The photos don't do the apartment the justice it deserves.

The apartment was exceptionally spacious and the location couldn't have made things easier. Almost everything we did was an entertaining and easy walk from the apartment. The decor was elegant and cozy at the same time. Lisa made sure that we had everything we needed. She and her mother supply everything you would need from local information and suggestions to lots of pillows. The kitchen was small as you can see in the photos, but we had so many choices for dining out that we never had a chance to cook our own meals. Hot water in two of the bathrooms was short lived, but Lisa returned right away to fix one of them. We just stuck to the showers that worked well.

I saw reviews about the sewer smell, but unfortunately, that "essence" is unavoidable as that appears to be a common smell that wafts in and out of the streets of Florence. That was a surprise at first, but we got used to it and that smell never actually came into the apartment.

We will definitely be returning to Florence in the future and will be sure to book this apartment way in advance because I don't have time for unpleasant surprises and everything about this apartment was positive. Thank you Lisa and Gabriella :)

When arriving we were all amazed at how grand and BIG the apartment was. Lisa gave us the tour of her place and was an email away from any inquires we had.
We loved coming back after a day of activity in Florence to relax in our air conditioned unit.

We felt lucky to have found this place. It had everything you would ever want as a traveler and was right in the middle of Firenze. And the woman who owns the property could not have been more hospitable and helpful. I hope we are able to stay here again one day!

Traveled with wife and our three teenage daughters (ages 13, 16, 18). We arrived by train and walked to the apartment with our rolling luggage. The walk was easy even if our wheels were the loudest thing on the quiet streets in that neighborhood. The apartment is next to the Gucci store, so it was easy to use that as our pin when looking at various maps.

Our first reaction when we arrived and met Lisa and started our tour was just amazement at the sheer size of the apartment. Each of our daughters had their own large bedroom and bathroom. Each was well-decorated and fully-functional. The living room was gigantic, there was art of all kind everywhere and had a lived-in feel to it that made us feel at-home, although in a place that probably had more square-footage than our own house.

We were left some sweet wine and biscotti along with a nice bottle of Chianti and some starter food like pasta and sauce. Former guests had left an assortment of other alcoholic beverages but we were all set with our wine.

After passing through the living room and private courtyard, the tour continued into ANOTHER living room, which they call the sitting room, which was accompanied by ANOTHER private courtyard, and then the master bedroom.

This place would be ideal for three couples who want to live in style in Florence for vacation. The teenagers loved having so much of their own space and it took extra effort to get them to join together as a family.

This apartment was so extraordinary in so many ways that I gave it a very high rating even though there are some downsides that others may have mentioned. In my experience, I did have trouble getting hot water working in the master bedroom shower but I found that just turning it on heavy stream got the hot water flowing fine. As for smell, I think I found that too, in the second courtyard and a little into the sitting room. Definitely not a showstopper and nothing that would cause me to lower my rating, but set expectations that there are flaws; probably fewer than I have in my own home.

Lisa called me on our second day to check if there were any problems. I mentioned the hot water and she had a recommendation with the water heater that may have helped solve it. She was easy to access in case of problems, so it is worth having her number on your cell for texting or calling while you're there.

Just returned from a few days visit to Florence.... this apartment was amazing. Luxurious and comfortable.... everything it said in the description. The owners have thought of everything.

They met us at the property and gave us a set of keys EACH! We easily got a taxi from the airport which was only 30mins away and only 25Euros.

Right in the centre of everything and all sights, restaurants etc.. in walking distance.

A wonderful place.
