If you love history and art this place is unbelievable- a stupendous palazzo with rooms untouched in 700 years . There are so many treasures in here it’s impossible to quantify - the best 6 € you can spend in Firenze

I was at this Palazzo / Museo yesterday for the first time and I wanted to give TripAdvisor an update because previous reviews have outdated info. First, I highly recommend visiting this place. I have been living in Florence for over four months now and have slowly been checking off the list of things to do in Florence over this time. I learned more about how a rich family lived in medieval times, but it could have been better. First of all, (according the the person at the front desk) the introduction video that people recommended in previous reviews has not been shown since before the pandemic. It would be nice if they restarted it. Two, you are now allowed to go to the third floor without a tour. Three, there are tours of the entire palace, but they are only in Italian. So this museum could definitely do some things to improve itself, but I still found it a worthy site.

Two tower houses turned into an early Renaissance palace. 3 floors furnished with appropriate period pieces gives you a glimpse into life in Florence at this time. Guided tours only and our guide was excellent.

This charming tower with a central courtyard is still furnished historically and has the mediaeval sort of wallpaper. Artefacts on display, in a very unmuseumy way, include a book of very old recipes. Wheelchair access is made possible by lifts.
