It's a bit pricey to go up the Leaning Tower, but how can you not? The views of Pisa are nothing spectacular but the views of the Field of Miracles are better. Be sure to pay attention to the way gravity is pulling you while walking up/down the tower, you'll be able to tell which side of the tower you are on based on the gravity pull.

Just go, it's easy. Get a ticket to get to the top of the tower; it's a lot of steps, take your time and a drink, it is well worth it the view is extraordinary. Do what 99% of the people of the planet Earth will never get the opportunity of doing. Much more attractive now that the souvenier market has been shunted to outside the gate portal. Plenty of local eateries to sit and ponder on the magnificence of it all. Two local car parks, or local streets short walk away with blue zone ticket parking, it's not a rip off to park there. Just go. My second visit.

A breathtaking jewel in Italy's crown. Impossible to describe even with the best photos. We missed the opening hours of the Duomo but the Baptistry and Tower were more than enough to delight us.
