Very much off the tourist track (in the Medieval core of Pisa) and favoured by locals, this place, located in a pictoresque square, is perfect for a perfect Italian meal antipasto from the area, fresh pasta, stunning beef and great fish, which sums up the variety of cuisine one gets in Pisa. Portions are very large and all very fresh, so if your course is taking some time, do no panic, it is being prepared from scratch. The lightly pan fried cod in a gente tomato sauce was heaven. Book as it gets busy.
