With a short walk to Siena, Palazzo di Valli offers a quiet spot away from the tourist crowds. We stayed here for a couple of nights while exploring both Siena and the south of Tuscany. Our quiet room was spacious and offered nice views in two directions, a comfortable bed and a clean bathroom with basic amenities. Each morning we enjoyed a tasty small breakfast buffet. The friendly staff offered excellent assistance in driving directions for different routes through the valley. Trust their recommendations!! I'd be happy to return to this hotel.

While on our way to Siena, we were looking for a place to stay overnight. We found this place on TripAdvisor and are so happy we did. From the first moment you walk in, Lorenzo and his team are amazing - he gave us our choice of rooms, although the busy season had just ended - I don't think this would be an option during their busy season. He thoroughly explained all the must see places in Siena and made a dinner rez for us. It's so easy to get to Siena by bus - literally minutes away...the rooms are so perfect - exactly what you think of when think of Tuscany. Breakfast was way better than where we were headquartering...thank you for such a memorable time! It was really wonderful and when I come back - I would headquarter here....

From the moment we drove to the front door to be greeted by Giacomo we loved this hotel. We were shown to our delightful rooms then went to the terrace which overlooks the town and surrounds. What a view! Breakfast was amazing with plenty of variety and choice. All the staff are so friendly and helpful, the rooms are great and the hotel is in a good spot both to visit inside the walls or to drive to other towns and villages. We will return if we are in Tuscany again.

I cannot say enough about the location and staff at the Palazzo di Valli in Siena! First of all the setting is so beautiful with a lovely view over the Tuscan hillside, looking back at the town of Siena. While being just a 15 minute walk into town or 5 min trip by nearby bus--the villa location takes you into the serene countryside. The outdoor terrace is delightful for breakfast, to share a glass of wine or just sit and enjoy the view. The breakfasts are very nice and offer many delicious options as well as cappucinos , expressos, or any beverage you would like. The bus into historic Siena leaves every 15 minutes just a few steps from the Villa, but we enjoyed the walk into town most of the time. Our room had a lovely view of the Tuscan hills from both the bedroom--and bathroom! Our bed was very comfortable. Most of all the staff was simply amazing and very helpful for whatever we needed. I can't say enough about the owner, Lorenzo, and his assistant Sofian. (Not sure of the spelling!) They went above and beyond to help us all through our stay, but particularly the last day when we misplaced one item of our luggage in the back of the taxi while trying to make our bus connection to Assisi. Lorenzo was on the phone multiple times trying to track down our taxi driver and our luggage--which we ultimately found. Sofian kindly offered to drive us to Assisi after we missed our only bus connection waiting to retrieve our luggage. We have rarely experienced such wonderful customer service in our travels!
Siena was probably our favorite place on our itinerary of Northern Italy--the history, the town with it's unbelievable Duomo, and museums like Santa Maria della Scala, the lovely Piazza del Campo--are all so amazing. We had some of our best Italian meals in their incredible restaurants--which were some of our best memories of our trip.
You simply must go to Siena and experience the superb hospitality of the Pallazo di Valli!

Room tip: Ask for a room upstairs with a view of the countryside.
