A very pleasant hotel and a comfortable stay. The rooms were very well appointed and the whole place has a feel of luxury about it. There is a spa attached with a range of treatments available but curiously only an indoor pool.
The staff were very attentive and polite and the whole stay was pretty good value for money.
There is an attached restaurant and if you like being patronised by waiters, give it a go although its not as good as it thinks it is.
The whole place is a bit dark and wifi connection can be scratchy.

Room Tip: All rooms seemed very nice - large and well appointed

We selected this location for our annual meeting with our best clients. Two days fully organised, from the welcome buffet in the private dining room with the big fireplace with the garden view, to the meeting in the "Sala delle Tavole Eugubine", with the coffee break served in the cloister at the sunset...
Gala dinner was set up by maitres Adriano and Francesco who literally pampered our group with a gourmet dinner in a astonishing beautiful ancient palace, Villa Benveduti, same propriety as Park Hotel dei Cappuccini.
The hotel has also Marc Messegué Spa and health center, with a dedicated restaurant for those who wants to stay fit! (Not me!)
Spa is futuristic and peaceful, with different types of whirlpool and treatments, two different saunas and turkish bath.
I should say a place perfect for meeting and convention but also for family/couple staying. In the nearby there are so many interesting, historical, traditional, delicatessen places to visit that the 3 days I spent there were not enough! I wish to come back soon!

Room Tip: The hotel is renewing the rooms, therefore some have wooden parquet, other still have moquette. The hotel is full of works of art

The perfect hotel for a visit to Gubbio. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. They even provided flip flops for the pool or spa. A full service hotel. The best part you can park at the hotel and walk to Gubbio.

Room Tip: The modern wing has nicer rooms.

My second time to visit and again a wonderful experience. I was there two years ago and On checking in I asked the receptionist did he remember me and I knew my his answer he did. Very perfessional everything is that the customer is 100% happy. Spa excellent and the food in the dinning room is out of this world the local dishes were delicious. Worth a visit if you are in the region this hotel is an old monastery with new building as well.

Lovely hotel in Gubbio with lots of positives. We stayed in a deluxe room. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Shower was lovely and well equipped with Aveda toiletries. Breakfast was a scrummy. Lots of choices. Pool and terrace were great.

Just a few annoyances. No iron in the room or available from reception: you have to pay for an ironing service. Room was very dimly lit. Hard to read or put on make-up. No air conditioning even though it was 30 degrees. They don't turn it on until 01 June!

But I'd stay there again. It's a lovely setting. Staff are friendly and positives far outweigh the niggles.
