The staff made us feel incredibly unwelcome. I work in customer service myself, and although I know that tourists can be annoying, I like to think that I never treat people the way we were treated in this hotel. On the first night, we were told off by the bar staff for using euro notes instead of change (even though we had only just arrived so had not had time to break into our notes). They had no set price list, the prices seemed to fluctuate as the staff saw fit! As soon as people in the area heard that we were British we were glared and and treated with disrespect and suspicion. My friend and I were told that there were “noise complaints” coming from our room....we had got in about 2 minutes beforehand and were speaking in near whispers! The hotel itself is a simple but clean place with everything you need, and the breakfast was lovely. It took us ages to be served at the bar due to how understaffed they are and the staff genuinely acted like it was a massive chore to help us. They seemed to do the bare minimum, and made me feel like I was treading on eggshells. I feel we were treated with a lot of disrespect and hardly listened to. If you are Italian you may enjoy the service at this hotel, but the staff are clear my biased against foreigners.

Rude, arrogant and understaffed takes them 10 minutes to make a drink and the service is poor I’m afraid. Had to pay 7 euros for a gin and tonic (all tonic) because it was a ‘cocktail’. I felt the staff couldn’t be bothered helping me out, very unprofessional. I’m afraid I will not be staying here again. Although the maid and shuttle bus driver were nice did a good job and was friendly.

A very nice Hotel not far from city. Placed into the woods woth a very nice view. We stayed there with sunshine so I don't know how it is in winter. Friendly staff and good rooms.
Breakfast is good enough in comparison with other hotels we stayed. You need to have your own car but it is worthing. There is also a free parking in front of the hotel.
I would reccomend it.

The rooms were clean and tidy and the facilities were adequate for a 3 star hotel.

The environment around the hotel was a bit strange - situated down a very steep wooded road close to a dilapidated apartment complex. As a result the place seemed full of local people standing around outside smoking and drinking and looking rather menacingly at the guests as they 'dared' to enter their territory.

The restaurant was rather stark by Italian standards but the breakfast was fine.

This was a good value hotel but some way from the centre of Perugia. .

Dear Sir, during your stay at the hotel (as in many other hotels across the region) we were accommodating several guests coming from the area where the Earthquakes stuck here in Umbria last August and October.
From you review it comes to mind you could be referring to the above mentioned guests of ours which have been staying with us since August.
Despite a first glimpse we can easily reassure you they are very friendly and hear-warm people which are going though a rough patch at the moment. Hence, in sense of solidarity, we have had them with us and we have all become one big family. They are safe with us here, being as it is, that we are far away from the epicenter of the affected areas.
We hope this helps in shedding some light on your stay here at the Hotel and we were very happy to have you as our guest, see you next time.

A three star hotel that totally fit the bill. The cost of the room was more than reasonable as rooms were a good size and most had balconies. Lovely view over the valley. Breakfast for only 6 euro each was fabulous value. We had a delicious meal at the restaurant that night and I had one of the nicest lasagnes I had during my 2 months in Italy.

Room tip: Ask for room overlooking valley
